Stopped here with my boyfriend after visiting loch Achray. It is the most perfect little pub and Jason who runs it is lovely, special shoutout to Sam for lighting the best fire!

We've been working in the local area and stopped by a couple of times for food and drink. The pizzas are fantastic, there's always a fire going and Jason is a great host. Hopefully going to come through for a night when we're not working sometime soon ?

Absolutely loved visiting here for an evening. Had such a great night with the people we met here. Thank you so much for all the laughs from everyone there. Along with the great conversation. And thank Craig for the water and aspirin for Beth?s hangover the next morning. ? Oh and heading made me some delicious and much needed hot chocolate! So good and the sprinkles were a great addition. Could not have asked for better people to spend the evening with. This bar/pub is worth the visit and such a gorgeous location.

Stumbled across this pub in the woods while staying nearby. Only intended to pop in for a quick drink before dinner, ended up staying for hours. Open fires, Berlin-esque club music interspersed with Mungo Jerry?weird in a good way ?. Like others have said, the landlord is a cool dude who makes you feel like you?re the only person in the room. Pizzas were uniquely good cooked in a wood fired oven under the magical twinkle of fairy lights ?????. I truly haven?t been to a place like it. I think you either get it or you don?t.

Everyone was so friendly! I didn?t try the pizza but it looked amazing and everyone else said it was great. My friend and I spent the night in our camper van in the parking lot. P.S. Craig, if you see this thank you for the water and the Tylenol!

Love this little pub, the best pizza I've tasted outside of Italy. Stopped by on a recent walk in the Trossachs and tried the breakfast. Cooked in the pizza oven on a cast iron skillet this breakfast is amazing. Cooked to perfection, it comes with orange juice and unlimited coffee great value for money and it sets you up for a cold wet day walking, fantastic.Parking: Phoned ahead and was able to stay overnight in our campervan. Nice big level space with plenty of room to park.

This is a brilliant little pub to pop into whenever you have the chance. Its such a nice environment with lovely owners. The food was brilliant, as was the service. The only fault I have, which is no fault of them, is how cold it was that day but I sat next to the fire and enjoyed my home baked pizza. Lovely. Will be going back.

This place is brilliant! Really friendly, food ace, and if you like music (of ANY kind) this place is for you. Parked our camper here overnight and had a great night with pizza cooked outside in pizza oven. We were treated to a bit of live music by Jason, and lots of varied music through high-end speakers. Other campers were enjoying it there too and have been a few times. We will deffo be back. Can't fault it. Lots of nice walking/cycling trails nearby

Feels quite magical finding this pub hidden in the woods. Very cosy and welcoming staff, food seemed expensive and very limited drinks selection but a great place.

What an absolutely amazing find, Jason and Sharon make you feel like one of the family and the food and the atmosphere was like no other ? can?t wait until the next time we visit this cosy inviting welcoming little place. If you are in the area don?t drive past go in for a little banter and some food.

We went along hoping the menu might have more than pizza. It didn't. The decor is refreshingly different to the Tartan schmaltz you otherwise get in the area. There is no lighting from the car park to the building which is a health and safety issue and should be resolved as priority. The pizza was ok but very dry. Personally I think all pizza should have passata as standard along with mozzarella. The barman (the owner?) kept turning the music up and 'photobombed' the blackboard menu when my wife tried to photograph it so we could check the toppings at our table. He thought this was very funny. If he was an employee rather than the owner I can't imagine this would be tolerated. We couldn't chat and got to the point of asking for doggie bags so we could leave. After my wife paid and was putting her purse away the barman grabbed her for an uninvited hug. He then marched out and challenged me to shake his hand to demonstrate that we'd had a nice time - which we hadn't. It was not dissimilar to and as pleasant as being challenged to a fight. Against my better judgement I extended my hand which he predictably attempted to crush and I had to pull away. Please don't grab people unless it's made very clear they want to be. We hardly spoke a word to you and it was inappropriate. Had we been chatting happily and got to know about your business it might have been different. Next time we're in the area we'll drive that little bit further and go to Callander to eat out.
