Only went in because Mhor Bread was queued out the door. Paid £5 for a stale roll with 1 and a half links on it. Absolutely terrible. Avoid.

Great for a hearty Scottish breakfast. They use local sourced ingredients and prepare everything in house. Very tasty.

We stumbled upon this place the morning of our wedding day. We told them we were to be married later that day. They were so excited for us. They cooked up two wonderful, traditional breakfast plates. They gifted us all of the food and drinks and wished us a happy marriage. They were so sweet and we will never forget it. Highly recommend this lovely spot.

Visited a few weeks ago, food is mediocre, coffee a bit weak. We had the cooked breakfast, the one mushroom was overcooked, there was more sauce than beans, the sausages were of a strange consistency and the tattie scone was bland. Staff are lovely though.

£13 for two filled rolls is absolutely mental. Tourist trap. Really cheap tasting bread roll and fatty bacon do not recommend.

Dropped by for breakfast on our way south. What a fabulous place. The choice of locally sourced ingredients is astounding. I had the full Scottish breakfast which kept me going till teatime! My friend had the poached egg, grilled mushrooms and wilted spinach on sourdough toast. Both of us thought it was the best breakfast we'd had in Scotland. The owners are experienced and welcoming. Cannot fault it. Best café in town. Oh and great takeaway crusty filled rolls and cakes.

Visited today for the first time in years.
The welcome was warm, the service was excellent, the food was fantastic (full Scottish breakfast, absolutely superb and the poached egg was perfect), the prices were good, and its two minutes from the river to walk off your huge brunch.
We will most definitely be back and I won?t leave it as long this time.
It?s five stars from me.

This wee café shop is full of charm and serves up fresh, flavorful dishes that truly stand out. I highly recommend the beetroot and salmon sourdough toast ? a perfect balance of earthy sweetness and rich, smoky flavor. The Turkish eggs are another highlight.

Was good. Food was decent, staff helpful. The tap in the toilet is literally scalding hot. That needs fixed. Has one temperature and it?s dangerous.
