The food was generally very pleasant, and the staff are quite friendly and polite, but the general atmosphere of the place is a little bit stuffy for my liking.

Though we never ate here the food looked fabulous. We just met other bond holders for a pre-evening drink before dinner and were always heartily welcomed despite only having a drink. Kyla was the most friendly person you could wish for and is a credit to the restaurant. Chris & Annette

Not entirely successful.
The waitress called us 'guys' throughout the evening.
My sea bass was generous and accompanied by cabbage. However, the meal was swimming in butter.
My husband's venison ragu was acceptable.

We had a booking for today but when we got there the restaurant was closed and no lights were on so it did not look like they were even about to open.

We have just had a lovely holiday at Tigh Mor. Blessed with very good weather for two days of our stay and mixed for the rest, but still a special place. We were so pleased we decided to visit Loch Katrine even though we did not want to take the boat trip this time because we were able to climb to the new viewing point which opened in 2024. Well worth the climb. Our evening meal at Scott's Bistro was very good and the staff were great. The restaurant has had a refurbishment and it is such an improvement. Charles had the Black Angus steak and said it was the best he has tasted for years!

Overpriced tasteless food, complete style over content

I will start on the food as that is what people want to see from a restaurant review; the food was well presented low standard produce. The menu is fairly high priced, so you expect much much better, hugely disappointed.
On top of this my daughter asked for bbq sauce on her burger, but got brown sauce instead for her only to find out after tasting it.
Where the real problem was the noise! When I say loud i mean REALLY loud! It?s like a kids crèche, with kids running around and shouting everywhere - it was not what I expected at all. The staff said it was super loud when we paid, but did nothing when we complained during our meal. I don?t usually complain about things, but we could not even have a conversation as we could not hear each other.

We were a party of 4, my partner and I were 15 minutes late and the other 2 in our party more than 30 mins late, this was just due to an earlier inconvenience.
This did not change the wonderful service, I thought we?d get told to trot on, far from it! We were welcomed and offered drinks and although we were flustered trying to make sure our friends got there, the team acted like it wasn?t a drama! Once we all arrived we checked out the menu and made our choices. I eat fish but not meat and asked on the off chance that I could have the scallops without black pudding, the waitress instantly replied ?of course? and off she went with our order (we all had the scallops) When it arrived we were all making ?this is very tasty? noises! It was delicious!
We then had our main courses 3 trout and one risotto, we couldn?t have asked for tastier food and in the words of my partner ?someone in that kitchen knows how to cook fish!?
We found Scott?s through Itison as a birthday gift for our 82 yr old friend, we are 41 and 51 in age, so it?s great we all enjoyed it! Your team are wonderful, so attentive, spent just the right amount of time with us, had a giggle with us and we felt no pressure to be rushed out the door!
A final thank you for the additional surprise of a slice of cake with a candle for Elizabeth?s 82nd birthday!
We can?t wait to return in the daylight, we will be booking lunch in soon!

An exquisite meal, the chef made a delicious vegan risotto for my husband, even though there was a vegan option on the menu, and the waiter was lovely. All in all a great place to visit that we both highly recommend. Thank you

Really great, tasty food and very reasonably priced! We had the Sunday roast and it was delicious, lovely desserts too. Service was quick and friendly! Would definitely recommend!
