Was a one night stay for us. The staff was very attentive and polite. Breakfast is very limited and Continental style. Too much of sweet options . It might not worth to include in the room but to walk few minutes and you'll find choices outside of the hotel.

Been in for a couple of evening meals in the last few weeks and on both occasions have had the Sea Bass. Quite simply the best tasting Sea Bass dish I?ve ever had. First rate and thank you ?

Had lunch here a few days ago. We shared a Crown Platter for starters with chicken goujons, haggis and onion rings. Then macaroni, scampi and chicken curry. All were delicious. Excelent friendly service with water and biscuits for our dog.

Just called in for refreshments en-route to home in Northumberland. Beautiful decor, spotless toilets, very friendly barmaid. Lovely addition to a wonderful town of Callender.

First time I've been in this pub and I was quite impressed very nice inside. We went in to see the live music during the music festival and thete was a great atmosphere and music. Very friendly staff will definitely go back ?

Dropped in here for lunch after a trike tour, really enjoyed it, my wife had fishcakes and I had haggis neeps and tatties with whisky sauce. Piping hot, lovely flavour, large portions, and all served quickly by a really nice guy and his female colleague, sorry we didn't catch your names. Well done, we will be back.

Awful experience. They had a DJ with a powerful PA system going until gone midnight in the pub downstairs and it wasn't until gone 1.30am before the crowd dispersed from downstairs. Couldn't even hear the telly in the room when the PA was on. Heard other guests complaining about the noise level at breakfast in the morning after. If you want a quiet night don't stay here. There was no warning of the late license or noise that was going to ensue.
