I stopped in for a coffee and cake and was really impressed with the fantastic service and quality of the food and coffee. I really liked the chai latte and the homemade tray bake, and the ladies behind the counter were really friendly. 5*

The best matcha I?ve ever had! I stumbled upon this wee cafe during a day trip to Callander and was surprised at how many homemade cakes and tray bakes they have on offer. The service was also excellent.
I had the biscoff brownie and the iced blueberry matcha, and then got a Dubai chocolate brownie to take away. I?ll be back!

The gentleman who served us was very polite and welcoming. Good coffee and a really flavoursome lemon and ginger tea which was a pleasant surprise as flavoured tea can be quite weak sometimes. The frut teacake we ordered on the side is as also tasty. Prices were similar to the other cafes in the area.

This is an often overlooked spot on Calender Main street. Excellent coffee, good selection and teas too. We weren't looking for lunch but we couldn't resist some cake. I opted for the Bakewell and my friend had millionaires' shortcake. Both exceptional. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's a pity that people look in the window and walk past. Perhaps set up a table in the window laid with a selection of their cakes ideally under domes or in a case. We'll be back because now we know where they are, more folks should.

Called in for tea & cake. Had oatmilk, which I was pleased about for myself as I can't stand the taste of milk. Carrot cake & Chocolate Orange cake were so unbelievably moist and tasty. Gentlemen serving was lovely. Will definitely be back.

I don?t usually leave reviews, but our experience at this café was so unpleasant I feel it?s worth sharing. Four of us walked into an empty café and ordered two teas (£4 each) and two tap waters, planning to buy cakes to take away for our picnic. When the drinks arrived, the staff member made a rude comment, saying she ?wouldn?t have given us water if she?d known two of us weren?t ordering?. We thought she was joking but then she blocked off the toilet area with chairs, said only two of us could use the facilities, and continued with horrible remarks that left us feeling shocked and completely unwelcome.
I understand the need for policies, but there was a complete lack of basic decency and hospitality. We won?t be returning, and I?d strongly encourage others to think twice before stepping in.

Well this was a mistake not to be repeated. I?ve never encountered someone so unsuited to the service industry. Rude to customers, soup microwaved, getting orders mixed up, seeming flustered by the slightest requests.
The only silver lining was that the carrot cake was very nice. But you can get better cakes in a better atmosphere with better service elsewhere.

Friendly service, tasty tea and scone in lovely courtyard area with both sun and shade. Helpfully brought out a tub of water for a thirsty dog too.

Awful. We ordered 1 coffee to take away and my partner asked to use the toilets and the older woman behind the counter said that it was only for paying customers and asked if it was just one person using the toilet. I said I would like to use it too, but she said I had to order something in order to use it. We left and did not have anything there. The cafe was mainly empty and we got a coffee elsewhere. After reading these reviews it seems like this is a similar story to a lot of people experience.

Can't comment on the food, but can on the very rude service. Stopped into a takeaway coffee on the road to Ford and asked if there was a customer toilet. The woman behind the till was rude and said if we were ordering one coffee, one of us could use the loo....
Decided to give the place a miss (probably would have ended up ordering lunch once my bladder was empty, ha) and use the perfectly fine public toilets five minutes up the road.
Do not recommend! Was not surprised to see terrible reviews here

Tourist trap. Charged £20 for 2 takeaway toasties and 2 coffees. Food was below average.
