Last night we booked a table at their tasting experience and it was fabulous. A large communal dining table meant we shared the whole evening with other fellow diners where you are all served the seven courses at the same time. The food was delicious, all locally sourced and the best of the best of Scottish food! Each course was also wonderfully introduced by the chef and their was an optional paired wine menu too, as well as super variety of non-alcoholic beer options. Overall, we found this to be brilliant value for money, and a wonderful way to spend an evening, highly recommend.

We booked one night at this bed and breakfast during our 12-day trip around Scotland, and it was the nicest accommodation of our entire trip! Josh and Lesley were wonderful and helpful hosts, and the food they prepared was out of this world - By far our favorite meals the whole time we were in Scotland. The room was large and comfortable, the dining room cozy, and the place was in easy walking distance of pubs, shops, and a well-maintained launderette that we were very grateful to use, as we were more than halfway through our trip. If we ever find ourselves back in Scotland we?ll happily go out of our way for another visit (and delicious meal) in this lovely spot.

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Callander Meadows hotel, the hosts Lesley and Josh were outstanding and provided a personal welcome upon our arrival. After we were settled into our room, we joined other guest?s socializing in The Snug common room next to the restaurant which set a welcoming tone.
Next day a great variety of freshly created cooked items were available for breakfast and our coffee orders were made to order. Lesley is so cheerful and full of energy, always smiling and always checking to see if you need anything else.
After 3 nights we checked out with a treasure trove of good memories.

OMG 7 of us had lunch here today celebrating our very good friends 60th birthday and honestly we were not disappointed. From the very warm welcome on arrival to the 5 ? service and that's only the start the food was outstanding truly a very passionate chef who utilises everything seasonal and local to create an outstanding menu. Absolutely value for money. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Had lunch today. owners very welcoming and pleasant. The food was very good but not huge portions and had to buy a portion of potatoes that really should have come with the whiskey ribs tbt for the price probably one of the most expensive lunch menus in the town.

Had a wonderful experience up in callender for the Jazz and Blues Festival. Not first visit or food at this hotel, however first overnight experience. My room was beautiful and classic with an impressive window view at rear. I loved the homemade shortbread touch in the room that naturally I had to try while sipping my coffee ?? now to the breakfast wow! I started with the very plentiful porridge lots of different homemade choices for the top, followed by a very impressive large Scottish breakfast, it was so tasty I made sure I took my time to finnish it? the menu choice is fab, lots of options for all different taste buds. Coffee was great as was the fresh orange juices. My party having stayed here a few times now all rave about the hotel and the food. The owners are lovely, down to earth nothing is a bother. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend for your stay in callender. Definitely will be back.
