Liz and Billy are 5* hosts!! Their hospitality is honestly out of this world; so incredibly warm and they know so much about the area. Liz is the warmest host and Billy is just an excellent chef. Dinner was incredible every time. The food was SO good and diverse (and I live in Paris). I?d come here just for dinner if I was a local living here. We had excellent local fresh salmon with a lime and olive oil crust accompanied by creamy leaks. As well as some vegetarian curry that was one of the best curry I?ve had in a while. They take great care in selecting their produce locally and sustainably. Breakfast is also incredible. The bar is really cosy too and has a great drinks selection. The views are incredible and super dreamy - true escapism. Would 100% recommend staying here or just eating here!Rooms: Very comfortable roomsSafety: Extremely safe areaWalkability: Amazing walks around this propertyFood & drinks: No better restaurant in the area!

Stayed here a few times now. Owners Liz and Billy are so very friendly and attend to your every whim. Food is second to none, rooms are modern and very clean and great friendly atmosphere. 100% worth a visit.Rooms: Rooms were big and spacious with en-suite and lovely viewsFood & drinks: The food was all made fresh and was absolutely delicious. Breakfast could feed you for the day and nothing missed out.

A gem! Small inn on the shore of a loch. The view constantly changes with the tide. Very walkable area, although there is not a lot to do. Close to Carrick Castle and Moses Well. The single track road to get there was a surprise, but by third day we were traveling it almost like the locals. The best host and hostess ever!

I stayed here recently with my wife . I can?t praise Billy and Liz highly enough for their unbelievable hospitality. The property is spotless throughout and has an amazing view over the lake especially from the dining room . Billy?s fish and chips are to die for as is the freshly cooked breakfast each morning. I can?t wait to stay at The Shore House again.

Lovely guest house in a beautiful lochside location. Owners could not be nicer or more helpful. Room was excellent. 100% recommended.Nearby activities: Went to local pub and had a great meal, then a live band.

An absolutely beautiful property , spotlessly clean, amazing breakfast plus very approachable and down to earth hosts . Great location for fishing and the Goil Inn is a 2 min walk , Billy is an amazing cook , my husband doesn?t like fish so Billy went out of his way to make him a curry instead , not many hosts would do that , plus Watson the dog ?just so well behaved We will definitely be back .

It is located right on the banks of the lake. It has the best view of the Loch. It is managed by friendly couple who make the stay amazing. It is a must stay place. Lochgoilhead is less touristy place, it is therapeutic and relaxing. Our Room was large enough and lake facing. They had provided basic toiletry , selection of coffee, tea and biscuits and shortbreads. They have their own bar too at ground level . Breakfast was freshly made to each person. it was tasty and filling. Loved our long walks along the lake. It can be reached by public transport from Glasgow or Edinburgh via Helensburgh. Journey is scenic too.

A wonderful couple of days at the Shore House. Liz and Billy were fabulous hosts, a wonderful place to stay. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view of the loch. Can highly recommend this lovely guesthouse for a peaceful break, it's quite special.

Incroyable B&B ! La maison, la vue sur le Loch, l?accueil et les compétences culinaires de nos hôtes. Déjà envie d?y retourner.L?accès n?est pas simple mais un parking vous attendra à l?arrivée, les deux grands canapés en cuir face au Loch, le poêle qui ronronne, vous feront vite oublier la route cabossée à une voie.Nearby activities: Randonnées
