Hands down one of the best places I?ve went, always come every year and being the only person my age leeds me to go to the bar and without a doubt always make new friends every time I go and always manage to step out my comfort zone and on the stage for karaokeNearby activities: The estate provides on site entertainment for older kids to younger kids, from slim making, teddy making, archery or crossbows and lazer tagFood & drinks: The restaurants always a good choice or you get the other shop the last time I was here you could only get pizza

Location and accommodation and activities all superb. The service form the bar staff and restaurant is very poor though. They seemed to be understaffed though so that might have been a one off.Otherwise we really enjoyed our long weekend , would still highly recommend.

Our family recently enjoyed a delightful holiday at Drimsynie Holiday Park in Scotland, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The initial draw was the breathtaking views we spotted while searching for a family getaway, and Drimsynie did not disappoint. Waking up to those mesmerizing views each morning was simply amazing. The journey to the park, down a small single-track road with fabulous views, set the stage for our stay. Our lodge was a true gem, featuring a beautifully designed open-plan living and dining space with views that felt like a dream. Sipping coffee and smiling at the window became a cherished morning ritual. The spacious rooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, provided all the comforts of home. While the food at the restaurant left something to be desired, and some staff members seemed disinterested, we heard they were understaffed. Despite this hiccup, the abundance of family activities?from swimming and badminton to axe throwing and arcade games?more than made up for it.Overall, Drimsynie Holiday Park exceeded our expectations, and we would return in a heartbeat for another memorable family vacation.

A lovely site sat at the top of Lochgoiel head if you don't like driving on single track road's this isn't for you as it's a nine mile drive on very narrow single track road's with drop offs at each side and you have to contend with people who don't know how to drive on roads like these. The accomodation is a mix of lodges, caravans, and a hotel, the facilities on site are good with a restaurant,a swimming pool, bars and adult and kids activities. The one thing that lets the site down is the Restaurant the food is very good but the service is appalling meals are slow to appear, the staff are poorly trained, whilst I was in one night there were three families complained about slow service it wasn't busy, They totally runied my grandsons eightth birthday tea.My wife and daughter went for afternoon tea but alot of the items were missing . The restaurant needs a total restructure

I ll give more stars if I can to this place. The holiday park is absolutely amazing and is in splendid location...The views are simply breathtaking and can never get bored ... The pool, playground and soft play, indoor activities is plenty of keep both adults and kids happy. The entire place is very clean and well serviced. Plus the place is full of hiking and walking routes...definitely worth a visit!!!

We recently booked a 4-day self-catering A-frame lodge with 2 bedrooms, and while it was certainly a budget-friendly option, we couldn't help but notice that the property felt a bit dated. However, the redeeming qualities were the breathtaking views and the fantastic location. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a few issues that left us less than satisfied.Firstly, the quality of the take-away food was disappointing, falling short of our expectations. Additionally, we encountered basic problems, such as having no hot water. Despite being assured that the matter would be resolved within the hour, we ended up waiting for hours, missing our dinner reservation in the process. It wasn't until 8pm that the on-call engineer finally addressed the issue promptly and effectively.while the lodge offered value for money and had its charms, the overall experience was soured by the food quality and the frustrating delays in resolving essential issues. It's worth noting that the staff at the lodge appeared to be fairly new, which could have contributed to some of the service-related issues we encountered. While we understand that learning curves are a part of any job, it did impact the overall experience during our stay.Walkability: We must commend the park for its fantastic infrastructure, which included some amazing walking trails. Additionally, the presence of a great kids' area, both indoors and outdoors, was a definite plus during our stay. These aspects added to the overall appeal of the place.Food & drinks: Unfortunately, our dining experiences within the Park left much to be desired. The takeaway meal we had one night was not only disappointing but also far from being a good value for money. To make matters worse, we had a negative encounter with the staff the following night. As an alternative, we highly recommend taking the 20-minute drive to Slanj in Tarbet, where you can enjoy a phenomenal dining experience that exceeds the offerings at the EstateNoteworthy details: On a positive note, the location was undeniably beautiful, and we appreciated the lodge's dog and child-friendly atmosphere. There were some seasoned staff members who showed promise, and with the right improvements, this place has the potential to be a fantastic holiday destination.

Such a beautiful place! We stayed in the hotel part but had a walk around and there are so many options for people to stay! Lots of caravans and lodges of all sizes. There?s an on-site shop, restaurant, pub and take away shop. Locally, there are a couple of restaurants/cafes/ pubs and a wee shop in the village too.We had a lovely stay here! The room was lovely and the view was stunning. The walks around the village were beautiful and we saw lots of red squirrels ??The activities looked outstanding! There?s a swimming pool, soft play area and a massive hall with lots to do for children and teenagers. I was so impressed that we want to come back and bring the family. There was also a spa, which we didn?t make it to but it looked lovely. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurantSadly, the restaurant would not get 5 stars from me. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times. We were there at the end of September and they seemed a bit short staffed in the restaurant. Lots of waiting and drinks being forgotten etc but you could see that the staff were working flat out to try and keep everyone happy.Gluten free options were ok. They had one or two things on the menu but then some things that should?ve been down as gluten free weren?t, like a baked potato. So had to ask about that and it was approved. All you could have for a starter though was a prawn cocktail so it was a bit limited, which is a shame. The food was lovely when it arrived. One night I asked for the gluten free prawn cocktail and when it was brought out, the bread looked odd. I enquired if it was definitely gluten free and the waiter went back to the kitchen to check and it wasn?t gluten free. He came back with gluten free bread on a plate, took the bread off the plate with his hands and swapped it for the normal bread on my plate, getting crumbs everywhere. He meant well but clearly had no idea about cross contamination or hygiene which was a shame. I think some training is needed here and a wee look at the menu. Another member of staff said they didn?t care for all that gluten free/ vegan nonsense and laughed it off. I don?t have a problem with that as I don?t care for it much either but sadly I have a medical condition that doesn?t allow me to eat gluten. I would love to eat normal bread and pasta but I just can?t. I?m not vegan either so not sure why this comment was made! It made me feel inconvenient and I?m so embarrassed as it is being awkward and having to ask for gluten free stuff. The whole restaurant experience just wasn?t great to be honest.Hotel ?????Restaurant ?

Lovely area, caravan we had was ok, settee and carpet were a bit stained but overall it was clean. The pub was lovely and the guy there worked hard. The restaurant, well that's another problem altogether. Not enough staffNo one seemed to be in chargeFood was ok when we eventually received it.Thought we we go for Sunday lunch as it didn't look full and after standing in a queue for 15 minutes and about to be shown to our table we were told - kitchens closed, this was at 2.30 on a Sunday afternoon bearing in mind there is absolutely no where near by that you could go to for lunch. They are definately missing someone in charge that can move people around or actually get staff that can do the shifts. They could have made a fortune on Sunday lunches as there were quite a few people behind us in the queue waiting to go into the restaurant.Would maybe try it again in summer to see if it was any better but not for a few years !!The pool was good for the kids and the soft play.Food & drinks: Drinks expensive, food ok when you eventually get it although the restaurant closes at odd times

First time on holiday at drymsinie, We stayed in albatross 4 lodge. Which was large and very spacious, each room had its own bathroom, we also had a hot tub, the lodge was well equipped with everything you need, just need to bring washing up liquid and soap powder. Tea towels, cloths, dishwasher tabs, bin bags etc. There was 8 of us and we never felt on top of each other as we had plenty space. Tvs in each room but not many channels, had to pay £7 i think it was for wifi and that connected 6 devices, i took a fire stick with me. The actual park has stunning views, there is a restaurant/bar onsite. Food was nice but service was really poor. Took ages to be served, we asked for split bills, the server had no clue how this was done, our drinks order took ages to come and was wrong. Had to be changed twice. There is a pool sauna steam room and hot tub all free too use. This was great and in the main complex, there also some arcades for the kids. There is activities also for kids. Evening entertainment was ok, music for the kids, then a quiz then bingo then a singer or karaoke. We enjoyed our stay and we would come back but there is a negative. The lodge was showing signs of wear and could?ve been cleaner. Wallpaper had been torn in one of the room. Black damp in places, paint coming off skirtings, dirty marks here and there on walls. That is my only complaint. Everything else was excellent.

What could have had the potential to be the worst weekend, due to landslides stopping the guests from leacing the village , flash flooding and powercuts , was actually a fantastic weekend. The hotel staff handled the chaos of the weather professionally. Nothing was a bother and every member of staff was friendly and could not have done enough to help . I want to give an extra big shout out to Justin from the activity part of the park ... he gave my daughter his personal " Rusty" Teddy. I had asked him if there was any "rustys" left ( the old drimsyine characters) he said there wasn't..when I told him it was because my daughter keeps asking for one and put it on her Santa list , he popped thru the back and came out with his own personal "rusty" that the staff were given upon employment , and gifted it to my little girl. She was absolutely delighted . Such a fantastic guy and a real credit to the holiday park .

Second year here and definitely going downhill. We stayed in one of the A frame lodges which are fine, although the TV only had BBC1 so not great for young children during downtime. Biggest complaint is the wet side facilities, they are disgraceful and look like a health hazard. As soon as you go through the doors you are met with the stench of dampness, you then head down the stairs where the cheap plastic walls are broken and damaged. As you enter the changing village the floor is coated with mould, however the worst area is the showers which you are likely to come out dirtier than when you went in, they are genuinely disgusting. As you head upstairs you are presented with more cheap broken and mouldy plastic walls. The swimming surround doesn?t improve your experience at all as again there is mould all around the place. I genuinely don?t believe it has been cleaned since we were there April 2022. Also, why am I paying for Wi-Fi in 2023, for the £7 it should be incorporated into the room price

I had check-in today and in the evening I had dinner with the family. We ordered Steak-Pie, Fish and chips, Kids fish and chips, feta salad and salmon with vegetables! Everything was perfect, the service was wonderful and the food was extremely good, the children were Happy! At the end, the children wanted to thank the chef, we asked a waiter to call him to our table, but unfortunately he couldn't come to us, because he was crowded in the kitchen, but he promised us that after serving come to our table! The children thanked him for the good food, I didn't remember his name very well, he said he was from Romania and I think his name is Ranko, or something like that! I recommend this restaurant, friendly staff and fast service!??
