We really enjoyed our stay at The Aberdour Hotel it was a cold day and we appreciated our room upgrade to a room with a cosy fire in it, the room was huge and it was a good comfortable bed. The staff were all exceptional and the food was delicious including our perfect poached eggs for breakfast. I would definitely recommend a visit here. I know we would love to return . If I could rate this hotel 11/10 I would.Rooms: Our room was a free upgrade and was beautiful with the lovely fire on the wall which made the room nice and cosy as it was a cold November day. Huge comfy bed too.Food & drinks: There was a good choice of food on the menu, we were on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal so that gave us £20 towards our meal each and if we went above that we pay the extra which did overspend but only by a few pounds as my husband had the venison which was about £22 but it was well worth. Portions were very generous.

Spent a couple of nights here after having read some of the reviews. It?s an old hotel and badly need?s refurbished. The room was basic, beds were comfortable enough but the room was extremely cold, may just have been that a radiator in the room wasn?t working. Not good for our October weather. The food was good but not exceptional. The location was good for visiting other towns in Fife and would be great in the summer with it?s lovely wee beach but I don?t think I?d hurry back.

My husband and I spent two nights in Aberdour at the Aberdour Hotel. We had a king room, it was spacious and comfortable. The building our room was in was behind the hotel overlooking the cute beer garden. We ate in the restaurant for both days for breakfast and dinner. All of our meals were delicious. Each evening there are Chef?s specials, and they were out of this world. Breakfast is a smaller menu, but equally as good. The hotel staff were all wonderful. Friendly, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend this special spot if you are visiting Aberdour.

This is a lovely, small hotel and we stayed for 8 days. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful and this made us feel very much at home and comfortable. We ate most meals there and the food was exceptional.

Nice little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Looks a bit outdated but that's part of the charm.

Went here for lunch . Great that it?s dog friendly to start. Menu had better selections than the usual pub grub such as gush and chips and steak pie which was also available. I plumped for the Greek salad with feta and added chargrilled chicken and my friend had chargrilled chicken and ratatouille on crushed potatoes. Both dishes were delicious. So much so that I?ve already tried to recreate mine at home but wasn?t nearly as good. The smell and the taste of that dish took me right back to the taverna on a cretian beach where I used to eat Greek salad all the time. Excellent!

We stayed one night with our dog, the staff were thoroughly lovely and the food fantastic (we had dinner and breakfast). Only (little) quibble, the room got warm and stuffy - it was difficult to get the big sash window open (ended up wedging a dog toy in it) Aberdour is a nice little place and you can happily pass a few hours wandering and enjoying the views.
