Excellent garden centre with a really good range of plants, seeds, bulbs, trees as well as garden equipment. Staff are always really friendly and helpful, and willing to provide advice. Nice cafe too with a decent range of good quality food and drinks.

Saturday 9/3/24It's been a few yrs since i visited this place & it hasn't really changed much. My friend had the lentil soup & it was quite thick & hot?I liked the look of their keesh - it had no crusty base or edge on it which was ok with me, & it tasted ok BUT it was only warm & so was my flat white coffee ? but i enjoyed their crisp, buttery tasting round bit of shortbread.I then went back up to try their lentil soup but sadly it was all gone SO I opted for their sweet potato ? & red pepper ?? soup. It came in a large cup & it wasn't thick at all, watery but tasty, so i just drank it out of the large cup.Sorry - no pictures were taken, but u can see photos of what others have taken. Their restaurant was pleasant to sit in & plenty of glass to let the light in.I didn't bother paying extra for their buttered roll, but my friend had one with her lentil soup & she said it was a good roll & it wasn't tough, but sadly i forgot to ask her for a bite of it to confirm that for myself. It could be that her teeth were sharper than mine. There was much to see in that garden ctre., many items like jigsaws, ornaments & umpteen bars of < soap.

Visited on Sunday, had French toast with salad and coffee in the cafe. Delicious! Price reasonable too. Lots of lovely gifts in the centre and best of all.... NO dogs are allowed in. BRILLIANT! Love this, and will be back again!

An excellent venue, despite the inclement weather! A vast array of household & garden plants, plus all sorts of gardening related equipment, and also a huge array of high-quality unusual Christmas ornaments - with even a little area of child-related books & games. Finally, a first-rate in-house restaurant serving freshly prepared lunchtime dishes and home baking. Staff were welcoming & friendly throughout, so a pleasant afternoon celebrating my birthday. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone who wants to treat themselves, or is looking for a gift that is something out of the ordinary.

Good range of plants, nice shop and the cafe has some tasty soup, salads, quiche and cheesy pasta options. Great to sit outside with a coffee and take in the garden.
