Had a great experience with ekco from start to finish. The staff were very helpful and communicated well throughout our project. The tradesmen were efficient and showed up on time. I was very impressed by their standard of workmanship and how they would tidy up after themselves. Everything was completed in a timely manner and I?m delighted with my new bathroom.

Ekco have recently renovated my mothers kitchen and she is in love with the space. She spends all her time there and enjoys baking now that she is retired. Can?t thank the fitters and the office enough for keeping us in the loop with progress and answering all our questions. Would highly recommend.

Lovely showroom in Uphall and plenty of product on display. Ended up getting bifolding doors last year so my review is long overdue. Recently had a remedial issue and the customer care I received was great. I must thank Callum for arranging for replacement parts and for a fitter to attend. Thank you ekco.

My kitchen has just been completed by the team at Ekco and I must say it looks amazing. I visited multiple showrooms but chose Ekco based on their fantastic product and design service. The fitters were clean, tidy and communicated with me daily on the projects progress. I would highly recommend using Ekco and we're even planning our next project with the team.Services: Kitchen countertop installation

Having recently had three wet rooms refurbished by Ekco I have to confirm the standard of workmanship lead by Matt has been of an extremely high standard. He and Katie took onboard every issue and ensured they were followed up and resolved. Ekco are not the cheapest but for that you expect the quality which was delivered. I would love to have given a full five stars but the final parts of the project did drag on due to a couple of hiccups but a lot of that is due I think to supply issues.Overall very happy with end product, I have just delayed sending the review to just live with what we have had done and not rush to a premature conclusion.Services: Tile work replacement

I went into Ekco at 11.00 am at the end of November asking to speak to someone in the bathroom department looking for replacement seals for our shower. Oh! sorry that person is not available but would be called back. . Waited for over a week for a call back... nothing. Spoke to a very brisk lady who informed me that Hollie was off sick and would phone me back...still waiting for a call! Phoned back again in January and spoke to Emma and she said she would phone me back last week... still waiting!

At the beginning of August 2022 we engaged the services of Ekco, Livingston on a design and supply only basis for our bathroom. We used Ekco primarily for convenience not price, we were willing to pay extra to prevent delays, problems and ensure compliance; we believed Ekco to be professional and highly regarded due to their business presence and awards. Our initial interaction and contact had all the signs of what we believed were a company we could trust and rely on. We were so wrong!I cannot fault the initial experience of the design process this was done well and the person we dealt with seemed experienced. However we experienced issues with the design after it was installed and after paying for the items upfront had no recourse when delays and problems started. One of the major issues was that there was no oversight of our order or the delivery. We were initially informed we would have all items within 4-6 wks. It took over 10 wks! On doing our own research we established we could have easily ordered some of the items online and had them delivered either next day or within 2-3 days.We found many of the items were missing or had not been ordered after delivery. No one managed our order. These delays were blamed on the suppliers, COVID or not justified at all. No responsibility for these errors was ever accepted by Ekco. We were being misled. It caused us great stress and affected us financially as we had to postpone various trades we had sourced independently of Ekco to do the refurbishment. This happened on at least three occasions. We had no recourse. This lack of oversight resulted in us having to call Ekco and chase up orders something we enlisted Ekco to do, we engaged with them for convenience and this was anything but convenient. The response from Ekco when we called to question the delays, missed items or to complain of the problems we were experiencing was not as I expected. There was a total lack of awareness or care especially from the manager who was unhelpful, argumentative and lacked experience. During one call the manager spoke over us and threatened to end the call when it got difficult, instead of listening or trying to understand this person wanted to be heard and control the narrative. The many emails and conversations we have had in response to our questions and complaints take zero accountability for Ekco?s lack of oversight and incompetence to deliver the service they advertise.By early November 2022 our bathroom was still not finished. Due to the design of the bathroom a bespoke glass enclosure was required and had been agreed with one of Ekco?s suppliers. On completion of the shower area the supplier pulled out stating they could no longer supply the glass due to the angles (which were as per Ekco design) and because we had fitted mosaics instead of a tile where the glass was going to be fitted. To rectify the problem Ekco found another supplier (this took a further three wks) however it was going to cost double. They could not provide an alternative and would not pay for the inconvenience themselves. After our horrendous experience with the company so far the delays and poor customer service response we chose to have the money for the glass refunded rather than risk further delay, stress or worse. It is our opinion following our experience that the manager who appears to have overall responsibility lacked the moral integrity, qualities and professionalism any member of the public would expect when engaging in a service while others were incompetent and lacked experience and training when faced with problems and resolution. Overall this is a company that does not take responsibility when things go wrong. Our bathroom is still incomplete. We are left with the problem of sourcing the glass for a design that appears problematic and expensive to resolve.I do not recommend, avoid and save yourself stress & disappointment.

This was our 2nd installation by EKCO having had an en-suite bathroom designed and fitted in a previous house. We had been very pleased with the professionalism of the bathroom installation so had no hesitation in visiting them again. We were looking for a company that provided the whole package i.e. all trades plus project management of the job.Kerri came up with some great designs which required major changes when we decided not to go ahead with taking out a wall! She took on board all our requirements, advising us of what could work and possible improvements. The installation started at the end of July and the "rip-out" went well; it was only at this point that we realised the installation team were sub-contractors and not employed by EKCO - this was a different business model from our previous experience. The contractors were not local so they were always looking at how they could optimise their travel which sometimes meant there were delays in progress. However, "hats off" to Katie who chased the contractors and was great at keeping us updated on things. Unfortunately, some missing bits of cabinetry, issues with appliance suppliers, problems with the worktop and the installation team moving on to other jobs, meant our kitchen took much longer to complete than we had expected.Having said all that, we have a kitchen that we feel is better than we originally thought (the paper designs don't really do it justice) and both Katie and Kerri pushed right to the end to get everything completed including our snagging list!Services: Kitchen countertop installation

Thoroughly disappointed with our experience.Employed EKCO to design and replace a family bathroom and en-suite shower room. The positives first. Hollie Kerr, bathroom designer, was outstanding. Really supportive and produced great designs we were delighted with. Listened to what we thought and was happy to make changes and suggest alternatives. Also helped out when we had difficulties getting Ekco to finish off outstanding work, which shouldn't be her role. The guys who came to do the initial scheduled work (Alan, plumber and Chris(?), joiner) were great too. Neat and tidy and everything finished to an excellent standard. No complaints there.Problems started when the work was not completed in the time Ekco allocated. We were left with outstanding electrical work, lighting and the installation of an in-line extraction fan to be done, which I'd paid an extra £156 to have installed at Ekco's recommendation following the survey.Richard, a supervisor I believe, came with a joiner. We discussed the outstanding work and he told me an electrician would be there that afternoon to fit the fan and lights, then he left leaving the joiner to tidy up. Before the joiner left I asked when the electrician would be there to fit the fan and then asked if it were likely he would show up at all. The joiner looked embarrassed, which I though odd. It then became obvious that he'd actually taken the new fan away but didn't let on when we spoke. When I followed this up with Richard I was told this was a genuine mistake and that this had been because he thought it wasn't required as there was a fan in place. This despite me already telling him the fan needed replaced. At no point did he discuss with me that he'd made that call before instructing for it to be removed and at no point did the joiner let me know that he'd removed the fan from the property when I asked when it would be fitted. You can take your own view but at this point the business lost my trust. The following week the fan was replaced and lights done. All was well for about 2 weeks, then suddenly we had water coming through the plaster ceiling of the en-suite. Upon investigation the fan had not been installed properly and literally litres of condensate had collected in the ducting. As the ducting had not been secured properly to the fan it came off and the water spilled all over the loft space.Ekco sent someone, who reported back to the office that the installation of the fan was, and I'm quoting, "a f***ing disgrace". It would be almost another two weeks before anyone was sent to fix the fan, by which point the temp repair had also failed and again water came through the ceiling. I was assured that the issue was now fixed - but no -within I think three days, water was again coming through the ceiling. This time the ducting had been fixed with tape, rather than a secure fixing like a jubilee clip, and again had detached.I was now told the fan needed replaced as it had been flooded and likely damaged. Ekco would need to send an electrician to do this. Despite several calls and emails with Katie in customer services, I am a further four weeks on and no electrician has been near my property and we still cannot use the en-suite. I continue to wait and I am wondering if they intend to do this work at all? Furthermore at no point has any apology been forthcoming for the water coming through my ceiling, the poor quality of workmanship leading to it or the inconvenience caused then and since.During these weeks I asked to meet with the manager of the business and despite offering an entire week of availability was told that this would not be possible. I asked for the name and address of the owner so that I could write to them directly with my complaint and again, was told this was not possible and that any complaints should be sent by email. You must ask yourself this. What kind of business does not allow a customer with a complaint to speak with a manager, refuses to provide contact details for the owner and thinks the above service accept

Tremendous showroom with a wide variety of top drawer kitchens and bathrooms (bifolds and gardens rooms also). Excellent service from start to finish, knowledgeable staff who couldn?t help enough. Had our kitchen designed by Emma who not only designed a well thought out and lovely kitchen but, was also on hand to deal with any changes we had and small issues during install, all of which were dealt with swiftly and without fuss. Thoroughly recommend!
