They call it seafood restaurant but the seafood is not abundant and except the fresh mussels is of the type that you could order in any restaurant anywhere in the UK; safe and convenient from the freezer

We went in for dinner with our two dogs. We sat in the dog area and we were told we had to move because the area for dogs was rented out. (even though the dining area was empty and they only occupied one table in the dog area). They sat us right next to the entrance and told us to keep our dogs out the way of the entrance for fire safety reason, which I completely understand but the dining area was almost completely empty and they sat us there. Felt like they were imposing extra rules for us that they had caused the issues for. I said to my partner that it was a bit confusing why they would allow people with no dogs to rent out the dog area when the dining hall was almost completely empty. Duncan the manager, overheard this and was quite combative about it, he continued to hint that we would be more than welcome to go to cruise the restaurant over at the other building. I found this to be quite offensive as if we were no longer welcome and tbh didn?t feel like our money was good enough anymore. Caused a rotten atmosphere before we even saw a menu. The night was only saved by the Sophie (one of the servers) who went above and beyond for us and the food was actually delicious. Just didn?t like the mangers ?sassy? attitude whose opinion wasn?t asked for to begin with. Left a good tip for the server as she definitely deserved it but I gave it to her directly because I don?t want a single penny of it to go to the manager.

Comfortable hotel restaurant with good food selection. Service was very good and prompt. Would recommend the monkfish skewers. Dogs are allowed if booked ahead into the dog area of the restaurant which was great.

Not gonna lie, although I was only on the Isle for two nights, I ate here both nights ?. They absolutely saved me as I did not eat lunch before the ferry trip and by the time I got to the Isle, most places closed at 4. I went for an early dinner and had the amazing prawn and monkfish skewers recommended by my waiter, and dessert's apple crumble was likewise wonderful. The next night I went back again because there was still so much on their menu I wanted to try, had the steak and the ice cream on the second night. Would definitely recommend for those looking for dinner while travel, and you don't have to be a guest at the hotel they are attached to. All the wait staff were incredibly lovely and if I ever go to arran again I'm definitely stopping by to eat again ??

just had a 3 day break at this beautiful hotel. My sister and brother in law are regular visitors and recommended it. I can see why. Room beautiful, confortable and gorgeous bathroom. Food can't be faulted. Staff very freindly. We are coming back for sure. Thankyou Auchrannie Hotel and Resort xxx

Brilliant seafood place in Brodick! We did not have a reservation but they squeezed us in for an early dinner, which was greatly appreciated. Make sure to book a table if you plan to come here :)

Super friendly staff. Portion size is ok. Just lacked any real atmosphere. The resort seems really out of place where it is and there is absolutely nothing at all Scottish about this place. The food is ok but I wouldn?t go back. I travel Scotland for a Scottish experience. No smoking outside.

Booked just a few hours before as we were on a quickly planned trip and staying elsewhere. Had the duck breast, absolutely fantastic. We arrived early and were seated at a lounge for drinks before moving to our table. All members of staff were lovely to talk to. WC was also very clean.

Four of us had dinner here , the starter menu wasn?t very good and very limited choice, when the starters came they really weren?t very good and all of us thought the same
The main menu was exactly the same, really not much choice and basically all their was worth choosing was the £40 steak which was nowhere near as good as the one I bought and ate from Aldi last week
I wasn?t impressed with the food and I was expecting much much better
On a better note the service was excellent
But I definitely wouldn?t eat here again

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in a 3 bedroom lodge. Our party consisted of 3 couples. Our lodge was lovely and modern, very spacious and very well equipped. The staff in the hotel were all extremely friendly especially at reception. We ate in the Cruize restaurant one night and the food was delicious. I would definitely return for another stay at Auchrannie resort.

With the weather causing ferry disruptions and having spent 4hrs on the ferry only to have to return to Brodick, the last thing we expected from the management at Auchrannie was a put up and shut up attitude to their customers.
We had been staying in a 3 bed lodge for the last three nights but they could only offer us a 2 bed lodge and wanted us to pay for an extra room if we wanted 3 bedrooms.
No empathy at all.
Manager was extremely rude and told me in no uncertain terms that they have AMAZING customer service - not our experience at all.
I expect we will get a snarky response to this review as seems to be the attitude towards any reviews that criticise their service.
So instead we chose to spend our extra night and money at a much friendlier hotel down the road.

Absolutely class hotel! This was our second stay and due to ferry disruption - Auchrannie put us up for another two nights for FREE. All of the staff are brilliant, and the employee owned business structure is also great.

Good service for sure. Nice staff and friendly vibe. But the food quality vs price doesn't add up. The seafood pasta was soupy and a touch bland and I would not expect closed mussels on a plate like this. My partners haddock and chips had a heavy batter that she ended up leaving most of. For what the bill said, this should be better. Wineport down the road wiped the floor on the fish and chips and other establishments are also knocking out more refined seafood options for less.

We stayed at the Auchrannie on our honeymoon and ended up eating at Brambles every night, we had such lovely food! Amazing seafood & really friendly servers - couldn't recommend more highly.
