This shop really does have everything you could need for any outdoor activity, plus some lovely extras like games and books. They stock great brands and quality products, and it?s in a really convenient location. The only downside is that the pricing is on the expensive side, even in the sale, but overall it?s a great place to browse if you?re visiting Arran.

Great outdoor shop with everything you'd need for the great outdoors,or Arran,as people like to call it. You can also rent kayaks and paddle boards if you want some fun on the water.

We stopped today to buy hiking poles, Happily surprised to find the clerk was Lewis...a nice young man we met while arriving on the ferry.
He was very helpful guiding us to purchase.
The store is fantastic and something you would expect to find in a larger area...A full service outdoor gear shop... just another reason to visit Arran.

A fantastic family run outdoor shop. Plenty of choice of outdoor gear and equipment. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Staff happy to help, but no overbearing sales pitch, just a friendly and approachable experience - highly recommended.

First visit to arran & not a massive outdoor trekker, hill walking adventurer but I am a big lad typically XXL to XXXL & found loads of cool jackets at very competitive prices. We checked out other websites & prices were almost the same if not cheaper in some instances & with the staff friendliness & helpfulness it made ys want to buy from them. We went a bit daft but got some nice looking as well as very practical, warm, weatherproof gear. Highly recommended.

Like other reviewers, this is and always has been a regular stop off for us on any visit to Arran. Staff always friendly and helpful and we always come out having bought something we're pleased with!
