Had dinner there 2 days ago, fish chips and peas. They were amazing... decided to go back today and it was totally opposite, the fish was much smaller, really greasy, a much smaller portion of chips .. different staff so maybe that's what it's down to.
We visit skye every year and have always used this chippy and always been happy. Maybe they are just having a off day

Great food had a haddock and chips. Quite a long wait but very popular so understandable. would definitely recommend especially with easy access from car park opposite and benches nearby to sit down and eat whilst you enjoy the view.

Really good takeaway fish and chips. One portion is good for two.

I visited this chippy because they advertised gluten-free options, which is essential for me as I?m coeliac. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. When I politely asked if a battered sausage could be made gluten-free, the short blond older lady at the counter responded, ?I could but I don?t want to? ? which was shockingly rude and unnecessary. While the chef was at least polite, he didn?t seem knowledgeable or capable when it came to preparing safe gluten-free food.
Given how important proper handling and customer service are for dietary needs, I left without being able to eat anything. I?m now considering getting in contact with Food Standards Scotland about this experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to anyone with dietary requirements.

We both had a takeaway of fish and chips We didn?t have to wait long even though there were others before us .
The batter on the fish was lovely and tasty . Not like back at home and not greasy The haddock fish was very fresh and of a fair portion size .

Siaway Fish & Chips offers crispy, golden haddock and fluffy chips with amazing views over Lochcarron. Friendly service, ethical sourcing, and excellent vegan and gluten?free options make it a delightful stop on Skye.

Siaway offers a wide range of takeaway dishes, with plenty of classic and modern options to choose from. It's primarily a takeaway spot ? there are a few seats inside, but no proper tables, so it's not really intended for dining in.
Service was fine and the food came out fairly quickly. This was actually my very first time trying fish & chips, and overall I really enjoyed it! The portion was generous, the fish was crispy, and the chips were okay. Next time, though, I?d skip the vinegar ? a personal preference, but it slightly overpowered the flavour for me.
All in all, a nice and easy place to grab a traditional meal. I?d happily return.

Mumbled service when you are the only gig in town . Perhaps the reason for the mumbled service . And not cheap . Really, could do better .
