Had a nice main meal here but I could not believe my eyes when the apple crumble was brought to the table. Absolutely appalling! I?m still in shock at what was served in front of me. The main meal was already expensive enough, so you?d think a pricey place would give you an unforgettable apple crumble especially charging £8 for it!
We waited quite some time for it so we hoped it would be good and were looking forward to it until we saw this?..
Tinned apple with water remains topped with cheap granola! Absolutely awful to serve this for such a price, let alone even half that price. So disappointing?.

Overall a very positive experience. Be aware their menu changes daily, so check they have the dishes you want before going that day, the website menu is only an example. All 4 of us had the venison, 3 of which were beautiful. The 4th was cooked a different method which unfortunately wasnt to my taste. We highlighted this and they removed the entire meal from the bill. The chef came out and explained the difference in meals and was very respectul, friendly and apologetic. He later brought us some vacuum packed freshly caught smoked mackerel to take home which was a lovely touch. We felt this more than made up for things. Service was excellent and the food overall was good but some ingredients were lacking flavour, such as the potatoes and chorizo.

We visited this restaurant recently and had a mixed experience. The highlight was definitely the pizza ? it was fresh, nicely baked, and full of flavor. If you?re coming specifically for pizza, you?ll likely be pleased.
However, the rest of the menu didn?t quite live up to the same standard. The non-pizza dishes we tried were okay but nothing particularly memorable ? more on the average side in terms of taste and presentation.
The service was acceptable but lacked warmth. While everything ran smoothly enough, we didn?t feel especially welcomed or looked after during our visit.
Overall, it?s a decent place for a pizza night, but not somewhere we?d go for a special occasion or a full dining experience.

Chef and staff were super friendly. Meal was fresh, healthy, beautiful and was given great attention. Wood fired oven, sourdough base, just lots of love for the craft. Better than anything we had in Aviemore. Be back on my next trip up. Big praise!

Amazing place - despite the heat of the day great service, efficient delivery and very friendly. The food was superb, well.cooked and presented and imaginative. The best Padron peppers I've ever had. A very clever menu which is modern with a foot in traditional here and there. Obviously good ingredients and everyone really knew what they were doing. We expected a much bigger bill for what was served. Qudos!

Could not rate this restaurant higher, we were so impressed with our pizzas! Really high quality ingredients with a great taste, the pizzas were some of the best we have had. The meat courses coming out the kitchen also looked really good !!

Had a very last minute booking , we were lucky to get in, and had the most gorgeous meal. So much so we booked for the following night while we were there. Beautiful food and I'm so looking forward to a return visit.

The steak was absolutely amazing. Beautifully tender, , prepared exactly as I ordered. I haven't enjoyed beef like this in a long time. Unfortunately, what completely disappointed me were the fries :-/ They were too oily and soft for my taste. The environment and the staff were very nice. The reservation was a good choice. Thanks

Been here a number of times but last night we went for the seafood platter. Incredible!
Give them 24 hours notice and they will provide you an incredible feast. Super easy to do, we had it for 4 people and it was ????

Brilliant Sunday roast! The smoky mash, tender pork, top tier crackling, superb veggies. Came in for 1 course and were swayed by the choices into having 3. Loved watching everything coming from the pass and deciding what we will order next time. Won?t be long before we are back. 5* (extra thanks to chef for cutting Mark?s pork up a bit more- broken arms and roasts don?t mix!)

Andersons is an excellent eatery nestled in a beautiful quaint Highland Village in the Cairngorms National Park. Chef is a real magician and I cannot wait for the pop ups in the 2025 summer season coming very soon.
