generally I have found the Parkville and Angels Uddingston to be excellent but on this occasion I was disappointed. No steak pie available and to be honest the steak pie for me is the main reason I book these venues but I also ordered soup and received just over half a bowl and a roll that was brick hard. But as I said this was the exception as in all other occasions I have dined there the food has been very good.

We had a party of 5 booked for dinner at 4.30pm. Over an hour for us to get a starter, 1 hour 40 mins for main course. Had to remind staff that we had ordered drinks multiple times. Not allowed to order mocktails for 15 year old ( no explanation of why) only that they have had issues before. Never had this issue anywhere else. The food was nice but the service was a big letdown and a bit of a dampener on my birthday celebration. Wouldn?t be rushing back.

Had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Parkville on 1st March 2025. Everything from start to finish was just perfect. Alanna was amazing and kept us updated throughout the whole process and was just a wee star on the day. Nothing was too much bother for her. We had the best day!

We had a lovely meal to celebrate our friends 80th birthday. All the staff were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us and made the occasion very special.
Food and drinks: Lovely food. Great quality. Good value.

5 of us had lunch in the restaurant and had 4 different meals. All the meals were lovely and the portions were generous. The staff were really nice and friendly. Service was great and prices were reasonable.

Upmost respect to the old boy (blue polo shirt) that clearly knows how to run a business teaching the new young staff lessons. The old boy can pour a perfect pint of Tennents lager. Very similar to the Tennents brewery. 10/10
My favourite pint in Scotland is a pint of Tennents in Babbity Bowster and this was on the dot similar.
The pint I received was incredible and very similar. 5/5. Respect to the bar staff.

Food is very sub-par. Everything served dry. Meat overcooked and tasteless, onion rings are clearly not even made in house (pre-made/frozen) and not served with any kind of sauce. I didn?t order a carbonara, but the menu says it?s made with cream which any Italian would find deplorable.

My husband and I went for a meal on Thursday 15th August. We had a starter and meal which was excellent. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and very attentive. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a lovely night. ?

As previous visits could not fault the attentive staff who made sure we were never left wanting.
Shared starter was excellent and our main courses, my wife had the scampi and I opted for the steak pie which were both warm and tasty. Only comment I would make is a lady adjacent ordered the small steak pie and seemed to be served with a slightly bigger portion of steak pie than my standard portion. Strange.
