generally I have found the Parkville and Angels Uddingston to be excellent but on this occasion I was disappointed. No steak pie available and to be honest the steak pie for me is the main reason I book these venues but I also ordered soup and received just over half a bowl and a roll that was brick hard. We had a party of 5 booked for dinner at 4.30pm. Over an hour for us to get a starter, 1 hour 40 mins for main course. Had to remind staff that we had ordered drinks multiple times. Not allowed to order mocktails for 15 year old ( no explanation of why) only that they have had issues before. Never had this issue anywhere... read full comment

Had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Parkville on 1st March 2025. Everything from start to finish was just perfect. Alanna was amazing and kept us updated throughout the whole process and was just a wee star on the day. Nothing was too much bother for her. We had the best day!
The Parkville Hotel is at the heart of the Blantyre Community and for decades has been home to a host of private parties, weddings and celebrations.
