Really annoyed to have eventually found this HSBC Bank today only to find out it is a call centre. This should be made clear to the public. I then had to trail all the way into the Glasgow branch, hoping that the outside business hole in the wall was operational as I have had several problems with that over the last few months. Not a good experience today and then to top it all had to make 5 calls to them before someone got me the information I needed. What a waste of a day.

No contact number to get hold of my 'relationship manager'. I deal with 6 other banks and have direct contact with my account manager. HSBC are really so far behind with the times.

Before speaking to Patrick at the call centre in Hamilton I had spoken to representatives at Nationwide, Natwest and Lloyds who all unfortunately failed to accurately explain intricacies with regards to data protection. It is imperative to note, Patrick did an outstanding job in simplifying and breaking down HSBC (and general banking) T's & C's with regards to data protection and explaining the connection to GDPR. Customer service at it's finest.
