If I could give a negative review I would. Reception staff clueless and rude. Very bad attitude from reception staff. Would not recommend anyone book here. Rooms dated and old

Recommended by a friend who goes quiet often, hotel great location, room bit noisy however they had a infestation of flies which was very off putting.
We could not eat our meals made me and others feel very sick, why we were not moved to breakfast room it would have been better. No one seems to care. Seemingly infestation of flies last year. I feel staff should have informed people of this issue as it's a current issue for the town, came home a day early as we could not eat or get a full night's sleep, the jacuzzi did not work, temperamental we were told by locals who use the pool. Very disappointed as it was a birthday treat for my mum

Positives first restaurant and bar staff lovely, central location looks onto the park and town close. Negatives check in totally disorganised would be better to give time to each guest when to check in when they arrive so everyone doesn't go at the same time also had to pay upfront and had to pay by card when I wanted to pay by cash before getting to even see room and as we booked through myhotelbreak you do not need to pay until departure as it states in the confirmation email from them, also as the lift is out of order until whenever we requested a room on the first floor did not get this it was on the second floor and the female at reception advised she could give us the first floor but by that time I'd had enough with the check in. Room was ok but dated and toilet roll rationed had to buy it 2 days in a row so we didn't run out said to reception about this answer was you should've asked I shouldn't need to is that not a basic human need and a sufficient amount should be provided. We were here for 3 nights and room only cleaned once not ideal. Will come back to Blairgowrie but different hotel.

recently visited the spa and was impressed by its modern facilities and high-quality amenities, which created a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
The room was clean.
However, the dining experience was less satisfactory. While the staff took our order promptly, the wait for the food was lengthy. When my chicken and haggis dish arrived, it was only lukewarm, which was disappointing. I chose not to send it back to avoid causing a scene, but in hindsight, I regret that decision due to subsequent havok it wreaked on my bowels.

I had a lovely experience at this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail stood out. I ordered a coffee and a slice of cheesecake, and both were delicious. The coffee was rich and perfectly made, and the cheesecake was creamy with just the right balance of sweetness and a beautiful drizzle on top.
The table was set neatly, and the little decorative touches, like the tartan flower in the vase, added a charming, homely feel. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cosy spot with great service and quality dessert

Food was great! It was also dog friendly and spacious which was amazing with 2 puppies and an older dog. Staff is friendly too. Shout out to Kiera/Ciara who snuck the dogs some treats and had a good chat too! Definitely recommended xo

Poor organisation on tribute night. Meal was cold and unappetising. Price of drinks was very expensive. The lift in the hotel was out of action, difficult for disabled guests.

Fairly disappointing hotel, these guys have excellent marketing but the experience is far from advertised.
The rooms are old and falling apart. I could feel every spring in the mattress, and our bath had a section loose that my wife injured herself on.
As for check in, it?s a self driven process which is fine - but we had no one tell us how to get to the spa or where breakfast was held. We ended up getting changed into our swimmers, and walking half naked with towels through the bar to get to the spa. Some robes to wear for the walk would be nice, but these are £7 extra each - first time i?ve experience a surcharge for robes. Of course you don?t need robes, but there was no direct path to the spa from our room without going through reception, the bar, and the dining hall.
As for the spa, the photos online look brilliant but it?s not as lux in person. It?s more like a local gym spa feel, with the hot tub not working while we were there.
The elevator was also broken but we were notified in advance.
Breakfast was our best experience. A decent selection between hot food options and cereal / fruit options. Plus service from the staff was excellent. Could be improved with some diversity in the meat options with 3 pork dishes offered - but otherwise a nice breaky.
The nightly rate I would say reflects well what they?re offering. It was a cheap stay and you get what you pay for. I?ve rated poorly as the marketing sells an experience that is not delivered.

Lovely spa hotel in beautiful location. Room was spotless and decent size.
Food in the restaurant was ok nothing special and service was good.
Singers in bar area on Friday night were ok and tribute band and DJ on Sat night were entertaining! Food was not so good on Sat and took a long time to come, but it was very busy. Late check out on Sunday was needed after drinking and dancing to the early hours!! Great idea ? Excellent value for money

They have different prices for different rooms. This isn't correct. Most rooms are the same. We upgraded to a superior room, which was no different from a basic room. We made friends with another couple who did the same and were given the same tired and dated room as us.

One restaurant staff member very helpful the others appeared slightly miserable. Room was relatively clean and did not smell unpleasant. Corridor leading to the room smelt badly of urine or wet dog unsure which !
Food was average.
Lift broken
Outside seating was good
Not a hotel I will go back to
Don't think it's good value for money

The good points are the location, friendly staff in the bar, the price, free parking and a huge comfortable bed.
The downsides are that the property is old, tired and in need of repairs and upgrades. Our shower head fell to pieces when we tried to use it, lift out of order, decking area closed etc
The breakfast was served until 9.30 but at 9 there were several buffet items empty. The bread was still frozen. It's very basic.
Didn't use the spa or pool but looked nice .

Hotel is a bit tired but the pool is good but needs a bit of tlc. All in all good value for money if you get a deal but the foods poor and the rooms need updating.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the leisure facilities are very good and spotlessly clean and well maintained . The staff are very friendly and always willing to help make sure your stay is trouble free.
