“We visited as 2 couples. We stayed in the “cottages” - a converted stable block. The accommodation is excellent. Well designed, spotlessly clean, maintained to an exceptionally high standard. A lovely base in summer or winter. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. Good food, the service felt hurried, as if they wanted the table back for a later booking (which they didn’t). We are breakfast in the restaurant on both days. Good quality ingredients, a couple of errors with the orders for hot breakfast but overall a good experience”

“We only went to the restaurant for a meal, so I can't comment on the rooms here. However the meal we had was excellent, with a wide range of choices on the menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The place was cosy and we enjoyed our meal there. I would recommend this place if you are passing.”

“My husband and I stayed here on a DBB basis for 3 nights booking through myhotelbreak.com. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was overlooking the River Ericht which gave us a good view. The food in the restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast was served buffet style and that, too, was very tasty with plenty to choose from. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and courteous. We enjoyed visiting the spa on each day of our stay having a swim, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.”
