Reception, staff and branch manager, we are very unhelpful and Had zero compassion for my two-year-old daughter who needs a doctors appointment. We have literally just moved house and that was enough of an excuse for the doctor, not to see my daughter and was even told that calls would be getting terminated because of this. The branch manager should be absolutely ashamed of Resource and operation of this surgery. A formal complaint will definitely be going into The NHS.Not all the staff should be bracketed under this review however, there are a few bad eggs that bring the place down Well done branch manager

Absolute shambles of a service. My father was hospitalized for acute heart failure and required life-saving water tablets when he was discharged.Because he was staying with me to recover short term (god forbid) he was advised by reception that he needed to change GPs to get his prescription...even an emergency prescription was not possible? He is not changing catchment area nor will he be in the near future. Ardblair is still his regular GP.Will be filing a formal complaint regarding this as this is ridiculous and any fluid retention could be fatal.

Not a patient myself but my wife is. She has kept good health & a very rare visitor to the practice. However after 5 weeks of ?just not quite right symptoms? she got an appointment last Thursday. Blood test arranged for following day. Call back same evening from Dr Nick who gave initial prognosis & medication immediately prescribed (it has helped). Another call from Nick this evening with more information about diagnosis, a prescription for targeted medication & details of follow up testing. Thankfully nothing critical but outstanding service. Many thanks from a very grateful husband?

Fantastic service. I contacted the practice while staying in Blairgowrie and away from my registered practice in Aberdeen. A GP called me back within 10 minutes of my initial approach and I was offered an appointment at the medical centre in less than an hour. Both the Doctor and his assistant were friendly, helpful and very reassuring. An example of the much maligned NHS at its very best. Thank you Ardblair.

I left Ardblair GP in March because we moved to a new area. I called and requested my information (specifically MRI results from November), Ardblair said only the new GP could request my information. I explained that it was my information, they again said that only the new GP could request my information. I went to my new GP and told them what Ardblair said, they stated they have never heard of anything like that before. They finally waived and decided to call? It is now September, my new GP has called and emailed Ardblair multiple times will no avail. Today I went into my new GP to see if there was any luck, they stated that again they had heard no response?Today I called Ardblair GP and for the first time in six months, they mentioned that they don?t have my medical records. Ardblair said that my medical information got sent to Aberdeen, I requested the number? Ardblair said that they didn?t have that information. Seriously? You know where my medical records went, but you don?t have that contact information?Secondly, Ardblair said that they didn?t have my MRI results, and that I would have to contact Ninewells Hospital for that? Again, first time in six months I have ever heard this! I called Ninewells and have requested a call back.My new GP said that in all their years they have never experienced anything like this. Especially me trying to get my own information. They said most people that transplant to another GP just go in and request their information and that?s that.I don?t know what?s going on up in Ardblair, but this is absolutely ridiculous. No patient should ever have to go through something like this. It?s not like I am trying to get surgery done ASAP, I?m just trying to get my information, my own medical information for the past six months and still nothing?

Great medical practice. Staff are ok.GP surgeries could do with being open 7 days a week.It's frustrating that we can't be ill at weekends or after 6pm and before 8am!!!The doctors are lovely.Parking is reasonably easy.

The issue highlighted 6 months ago by Benjamin is still very much an issue, although this is denied by the practice manager, who has a horrendous habit of speaking over you when things aren't going his way. I'd imagine this will be familiar to the staff. I've just checked my call log to find 9 separate attempts to get my results. The PM insists I've only called once, so 8 of these calls on the log must clearly be a glitch. 3 suggestions for new patients. 1. Use Thrums Vets instead. 2. Use Castle Vets instead. 3. Be fully aware the chances of a clinically qualified member of staff being available is very close to zero. Avoid!

Having just moved to the area I registered with Ardblair. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. I needed treatment within 3 weeks and they were extremely helpful, professional and caring.

Shocking service. Booked a telephone appointment for Friday at 9.15am.9.15am came no call waited till 10am called the practice and was told the doctor had tried to call me which was a lie no call made to my number. Was told by receponist to stay on the course. Sounded like doctor could not give a monkey about calling me.Now have another appointment Monday 9.20am

I cant get an appointment ever. I've got a chest infection and been told the next available appointment is in a couple of weeks.
