A gem. Good food, tasty beers and fantastic customer service. Worth a visit if you are near Blair Athol or even the House of Bruar

Descending from a tough overnighter in the mountains in foul weather, headed to this old faithful: flawless service, perfect food, just a lovely lovely place. A choice of inside in the snug surroundings or outside in the garden are both great. The local beer taster option is great too.

Food and drink were good. Prices high. But typical for Highlands.

Food and service was fantastic, shame the chicken goujons are no longer on the menu from a few years ago.
However I?m not sure if I?ll return due to dogs being allowed, was nearly as many dogs as humans. Dogs barking and some smelly. Left with a very runny nose and enflamed eyes and sneezing due to all the dogs. Unfortunately all the dogs ruined the experience for me.

Great food and good service, but you do pay a premium price.

Old and stale offering, needs a complete facelift and upgrade or will be lost, and £5.50 for Pint of Tennents is a complete rip-off.
Stay awayif you can, try thd Round House 1 mile towards Pitlochry

Never been somewhere with such rude staff. Avoid - much better places (with welcoming staff & great atmosphere!) around - try wasted degrees microbrewery for pizza or the loft instead & save your evening!

Staff were extremely rude

Came in for a meal after a long day on the hills. The server was immediately hostile and began to ID us before greeting us. She scoffed at my friends' French and American IDs. She then began to lecture me about drinking in Scotland, despite the fact all of us have lived here for years. All of us are 26 years old, but she insinuated strangely that they were keeping the company of a child (referring to me, also 26). I didn't have an ID and didn't want to drink, but explained to her that even 16 year olds accompanied by an adult can have a beer/cider with a meal. Denied this completely and said the pub didn't abide by this law. Left promptly and went and found better service elsewhere. Avoid.
