Lovely old watermill. Dog friendly garden, that only has a few tables, which most were still covered in previous occupiers crockery etc. Was busy but seemed to take a while to clear tables. Both had cheese toasties which were lovely. Great bread and generous amounts of cheese. However it was served with half a plate of salad that consisted of 99% lettuce, half a cucumber, half a tomato and 3 small bits of red onion but with no dressing! Was a bit disappointing, either make more effort with the salad or don't bother with it!

Had the most delicious carrot cake I?ve ever tasted and I?ve tried a lot of carrot cake ?Coffee was lovely and I wish I could?ve taken the whole carrot cake home with me ? Service was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect with beautiful views from the outdoor tables facing onto the Scottish hills.

What a really place to stop for a drink and or a snack / meal, in a really nice setting.
They have a working watermill with rooms inside for customers to see all the workings of a watermill.
Plenty of items to buy, eg flour and oatmeal etc.
Plenty of free carparking.
Customer toilets were clean.
