This place is amazing! Their food is reasonably priced and customer service is fab, the people running this business are free to answer questions and you can see the making the mouthwatering food.

Ho Wok... think it used to be 1A Wok... Shocking... made the mistake of calling in here as the ATM next to the usual Chinese takeaway I use was not working and I headed up here next to the Co-op as it was the closest. Had been out for a few beers and was only looking for a Chicken curry, fried rice and prawn crackers. How could you get this simple order so wrong?!?!? The rice was passable but the prawn crackers were terrible... brown and tasteless, while the curry itself was inedible. A layer of onions at the bottom with a layer of clearly pre frozen chicken on top and congealed curry sauce encasing the whole thing. It had clearly never seen the inside of a wok. Flavourless and absolutely disgusting. I really am at a loss how such a simple dish can be served so poorly... Be warned... do not try this place....

Food was incredible! Staff are excellent. Left my jacket with my company name on in. Went out their way to email the the company with detail from my bank card so they could track me down. Can?t recommend or thank them enough ??

We moved to the area a year ago and ordered from the first Chinese we saw which was 1A wok. We thought the food was lovely. After being in the village for a while we tried many others but always went back to 1A as they?ve hands down got the best food. We?ve had several guests order from there too and it?s always been great. I don?t understand the bad reviews at all or at least they must be very outdated as it?s not been our experience at all. Would highly recommend.

1 of the orders that turned up was like brown meat slop!!

Absolutely smashing scoffed it in 2 minutes wae the bros 10/10 would recommended go here in the speed like your life depends on it I loved the curry nice and piping hot gave me 3rd degree burns in mae mooth but still great ma bum was running like Usain Bolt going doon the m8 at lightning speed aw night I could actually eat this aw night mer than yur great grandfather that fought in ww3 ya trooper but still mae fav ya Beltar would go every week if I could but still I live behind it in the bin snorting the curry sauce hahah as well as I grab the chicken balls and shove them in the air fryer and grab them and turn them into water balloons filled wae sweet and sour sauce and pelt them af the delivery driver

Was sent the wrong food and waited for over an hour for replacement. Called to enquire and was met with hostility and told ?it was a busy night?. No apology and a poor attitude. Terrible way to treat a loyal customer and won?t be ordering

An absolute shambles of a place food was piping hot which was good but the carrier bag it came in tasted better no flavour very bland probably the worst takeaway ave had wow how on earth are you guys still open
