Paid £600 to have a gearbox repaired travelled 30 miles to have it breakdown again, called to try and resolve the issue and was told I?d get a call back but hasn?t been back In touch, vehicle now also needs a clutch that was perfect before having any work done. Would definitely avoid as he obviously had no idea what he?s doing

I can't believe how good Tayside Transmissions is. The past few months had car passed from pillar to post different prices and what not about fixing or repairing the gearbox.Took it to Tayside Transmissions and wasn't a bother to them, good prices, good professionalism and banter. My 6 speed Vauxhall (M32 box) developed the warning whine and also movement in the gear stick. I found Tayside Transmissions while looking for quotes, gave them a ring and was invited to drop by. Guy took the car for a spin, clearly knew what he was dealing with to the extent he keeps the bearings in stock. Booked it in. Repair was fast and a good price - 10/10 would recommendService: Transmission repair

Not a good experience at all, as the issue on my car wasn't fixed and now when I call they don't answer the phone. Poor service, best stay away and use someone else

Great job. Removed my Suzuki's gearbox, fixed it, replaced clutch, reattached everything and all for what I was quoted elsewhere to just fix a removed gearbox. Excellent service, many thanks.
