We stayed at the Kirkstyle as we were attending a wedding at the Cornhill Castle nearby. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast every morning was delicious. A special big thank you to Eddie the Manager who went out of his way to help us with a medical emergency, so kind and so helpful.

Booked for one night stay, centre if Biggar very handy.Double room medium size King bed.Roomhas all amenities, heating very warm good radiator. Good bathroom and shower all very clean. Not luxury but adequate for price. People having to walk through breakfast area from outside to access room's door opening and closing constantly.Food & drinks: Ordered Vegetarian breakfast then was told no sausages was asked if that was alright! I had to ask if we could have something in place., we really should have been offered somthing by server and not have had to ask Breakfast was well cooked and very warm.

Lovely large family room, well equipped, comfortable beds.Friendly welcome. No evening meal service but a discount at the local Inn opposite. Unfortunately no flexibility on the times for hot breakfast service but had a tray of croissants & cereal left out for us instead.Would stay again.

Kirkstyle hotel is a basic hotel but it?s absolutely spotless and amazing staff , Breakfast is 5* absolutely spot on the service this morning ( Tuesday 18th) was first class she was so friendly making sure we had enough tea coffees etc well done definitely be back.

What a fantastic place to stay with a smashing breakfast. Room was very large and well equipped with TV and spotless bathroom. Easy access to the hotel after hours. A great venue for anyone in the Biggar area. 5 stars

The service was good but the rooms were not clean. There massive spider webs in the bathroom. I won't go back especially for the price we paid. I was in Biggar for a wedding the booking at this hotel was made by the groom's family for me and others from the wedding party.

We stayed here ( group of 5 in 3 rooms) as organising a scattering of ashes in Moffat . The rooms were mostly clean and great mattresses and bedding. One room was quite cold though and mentioned this. The touches like milk and water in fridge in room was lovely. The showers excellent . The rooms are a mix of styles of furniture not to all tastes but workable . Staff were very accommodating on entry . The breakfast in the morning was ABSOLUTLEY excellent ? the full Scottish was amazing served hot and well cooked and included in the price. There was lovely options of eggs/ smoked salmon / etc .We all enjoyed it very much. The crockery individual to a rarity in 3 star ! The staff were lovely . Thankyou for our stay at a difficult time.

Stayed here for one night while we were at a wedding. Staff were excellent and made sure we had everything we needed and booked our taxi for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and served with a genuine smile. Room was clean and had everything we need for a restful nights sleep.

From the moment we checked in we were treated with great customer care. The room was outstanding lovely bedding, great pillows the facilities were excellent met all our needs (lovely wee touch was the fresh milk in the fridge which was concealed and didn?t make any noise!!). Breakfast was superb with a great choice. Will definitely return and recommend. A shout out to the hotel staff, they were all amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Small family run hotel with good facilities, excellent staff and a fabulous breakfast. Room was well furnished with a comfortable bed, two armchairs, wifi and well soundproofed from the road. Hot water was a little slow, but thats a very minor point. Excellent, friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast menu covers all the bases and the food is freshly cooked, hot and served with a smile.
