Took the family for lunch recently. Really enjoyed the tagliatelle, with home made by Errington Cheese, crowdie, and beautiful squash plus hazelnuts, which combined for a delicious experience. My difficult to please son had the Italian sausage rarebit, which came on a brioche base. Again, unexpected combination of flavours was delicious. Sadly, we were driving so no wine for us, but a good selection on offer. Also interesting was the cheese pairing menu which included suggestions for a small piece of cheese (nearly all Errington) and interesting, high quality accompaniments. Gingerbread, honeycomb and fig jam being some. Although it was a busy afternoon and the restaurant was full, tge service was very smooth and efficient with friendly knowledgeable staff.
All in all, a great experience.

Errington's Barn is so disappointing after always enjoying our visits when it was The Red Barn!
I would also like to warn anyone looking at the website that the photos of the cafe are of when it was under the old management, it no longer has the nice atmosphere that it had then.
We stopped for breakfast recently, the staff weren't very welcoming, the 'extra hot' coffee we ordered was luke warm, they got the order wrong and the bacon was hard.
Won't be back ?

We didn't eat, as there were no filled rolls or 'takeaway' foods, and we didn't fancy the full menu.
But the coffee and hot chocolate were nice.

I was also in the group of 8 and left disappointed how our request was answered, the young lady
is in the wrong business, maybe a bad hair day! In the pasted, always been great place to visit, I hope they get their act together and give the customers what they ordered,
After all it?s the customers at keep you in a job, all this due to a few minutes after there cut off time for a hot filled roll,
PS
I wish the new owners all the best in this venture, and hope you may review the cut off times for hot filled rolls
Thank you

A group of 8 arrived at exactly 11.30am today and waited until the customer in front of us had been served. By the time we ordered the clock showed the time as 11.34am. We were told very bluntly by the person who appeared to be in charge that no breakfast rolls etc were served after 11.30am. We have used this establishment many times when under previous ownership and never been disappointed but we will now think again about visiting in future!

Great place to stop for coffee and a nice farm shop with my favorite Errington cheeses on sale and many other food items.
Lovely woodland walks for the kids and dog.
I will be back here regularly

Interesting menu but got a delicious salad which was much nicer than it sounded. Would recommend giving more Info on food content and some advice on 'How' to use the menu as on hindsight we may have bought some bread then tried some of the cheeses with chutneys etc rather than opting for 'more familiar' dishes. We loved it though. Just a tricky menu to navigate ?

What a lovely unexpected find. If you drive passed the Big Red Barn, it is worth stopping for! The quality of the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I felt really at ease here, and had a lovely time. There's plenty of choice for food and drink, and you can walk around the grounds afterwards. It is a beautiful place to bring the kids. The staff are all friendly and warm too.

Very friendly family run business. Meats and cheeses from Errington Cheese farm and served at shop. Fresh as it should be.
Large car park and easy pedestrian entrance access for all abilities.
Definitely will be back.
