Walked out along the old railway from Biggar to this braw wee tearoom and had the most delicious club sandwiches to fuel my friend and I back home again. Lovely warm welcome, and despite us sitting outside, the staff were very attentive. Highly recommend a wee visit in here. (With or without a big walk)

Just back from a delicious afternoon tea here. The food was traditional, high quality. To start we had a beautiful beetroot and pepper quiche followed by a huge range of well filled sandwiches. As if that wasn't enough it was followed by scones and the most delicious cakes. Endless tea too.
All of this and a wonderful welcome too.
Thank you

We stopped here enroute to Moffat after getting drenched on our motorbikes recently!
Cake and bacon roll was lovely, just what was needed to lift our spirits!

We stopped here at this lovely wee cafè on our way home from the Eden festival yesterday. Food was delicious, the 2 servers were young and very good at their job.
However we found the older blonde lady rather patronising in her manner to us and to the other customers there at the same time.
Shame really as everything else was first class ?

We walked from Biggar to Broughton, expecting the cafe to be open, as per the opening hours advertised on the FB page, only to find it closed.

Found this gem of a tea room whilst riding the John Buchan way. Doesn't look much from road, but delightful garden and interior. Fast and brilliant service, great food, coffee and cakes. Highly recommend

Lovely wee cafe in Broughton between Peebles and Biggar at the end of the John Buchan Way. This place saved us after we got soaked on the JBW and sought refuge for a cuppa, a scone and a warm up. Thank you and shame the kitchen was closed to try some other food. ?
