Called in on our way home from a weekend away for lunch. It was very quiet with only 2 people eating when we arrived. We wanted a roast lunch as it was a Sunday but were told they weren't doing it so we had steak pie. Cannot fault the steak - it melted as soon as you touched it with a knife. Great local place , food was fab . Eccentric little pub but welcoming . Don’t let the interior fool you, food was lovely , well my scampi was rhe best I’ve had in a long time
If you’re lucky you’ll meet Lucy the pub dog and have a cuddle .
