Stopped on route to John O Groats, had the halloumi burger and the steak burger. Staff were friendly and accommodated an unusual dietary request, the food was lush - especially the fries and the sticky ginger loaf. Was lovely to sit outside in the sun too!

A really friendly place to visit, nice selection of homemade cakes and selection of drinks.
The menu looked great, especially the venison burger, which we may come back to for another time.
Highly recommend Clachan Cafe for a stop off, either whilst passing through, visiting the nearby museum or stopping off at Farr Beach.
