Ordered the meal deal for two.
The pakora were delicious but cold.
The bhajis were greasy.
The makhani was a korma (it said makhani on the tub but it tasted absolutely like a korma, and had no tomato in the sauce - no makhani I've ever had has been tomato-free and yellow)
The pathia was rated one chilli but was unbelievably hot - I like spice but couldn't finish it
The poppadoms and rice were good
The cheese naan had no cheese in it
The tubs were all incredibly greasy and the turmeric grease stained my white table
The chicken was cooked beautifully but that's really the only positive I have. The meal cost nearly £50 and was just not at all worth it.

Efficient and kind staff. We did not make a reservation but the boss squeezed us in the schedule. Tasty curry 's (lamb tikka and tandoori mixed bahti). We needed a doggy bag so the portions are definitely big enough. Highly recommended.

I generally do not post reviews till they are extremly good or bad.
The Naam seemed like cooked 2 hours ago only to re heat and serve.
I have no words for kheema pulao rice. It was just an embarrassment.
Asked the waiter to recommend gravy and felt like they wanted to get rid of it. No taste to it.

I understand upselling and it is common practise but having judgmental voice to increase food list was not acceptable. Poor upskilling skills.
Working in Hospitality for years. And growing up with Indian food and then been served this at an indian restaurant is definitely not what i wanted to have today.

Just got a delivery to beauly holiday park 20 min ago the food is fantastic the delivery was 2nd to none very fast my wife did'nt take enough cash for payment the fella delivering came down the site to get the correct payment very polite and was alright with the misundetstanding over the cash payment will definatley be ordering again before we go back home highly recommened if in the area

Great Indian food. Just a bit unfortunate that they run out of some dishes quite early. Great service from what appears to be a family. That's how it feels. Very occasionally the guests can be a bit raucous. They may be having a great time but not great for families. Language a bit over the top when in the company of others.

Had a bad experience here.. would never recommend anyone, especially Indians coming here. I had made a very simple request of plain parantha with cheese on the side for my child, and the waiter kept saying we are very busy and he can not do that. No one really cared that even we are waiting and will be paying them.
We ordered Aloo Gobi with less oil and requested 2 times to make a note of that, but that was ignored
The aloo Gobi and garlic Naan arrived, and the Gobi looked stale and old and would not break with a fork.
When told about it, the server very rudely mentioned that Indian customers usually preferred dal, which was not mentioned to us before. In the hospitality business, we could at least expect some politeness, but all we got was being ignored or very rude and aggressive after being told about the quality of the food.
And the garlic naan as seen in the picture is green in color !
Highly disappointing experience as our Saturday evening was totally ruined.

Had a takeaway while visiting Beauly and it was chef?s kiss. I ordered tandoori and tikka masala chicken but ended up with double tandoori no complaints! It was saucy (unexpected!) but absolutely delicious! juicy, flavourful, and packed with spice. The papadom was massive, crisp, and not greasy at all. Only letdown? The pakora, wouldn?t recommend that one.

Staying in a local chalet park, ordered for a Friday treat via phone. Polite and swift service with some extra poppadoms thrown in free of charge. Arrived in very good time and the curry was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

We took a takeaway from Shimla Indian Restaurant while completing our NC500 trip and overall the food was delicious.
We ordered chicken tikka, vegetable biriyani, paneer balti, naga chicken, garlic naan, and papadam.
The flavors were great, but the vegetable biriyani?s rice wasn?t fully cooked, which was a bit disappointing.
The prices were a little on the higher side, but the quality made up for it.
A good option for tasty Indian food!

Our curries were amazing, so fresh and tasty. They delivered to Beauly Holiday Park which was fab. Definitely will be ordering again when back in Beauly ?

Been there for dinner: simple place, that offers a big menu: we had very nice dishes (especially balti), great naan, quite small rice portions though. In the end a very good place!

So glad to have discovered this place, there is not much choice for Indian Cuisine in the highlands but this place is fantastic, every dish I have tried (5 or 6) has been different, packed with flavour, freshly cooked. Just delicious - highly recommend.

Ordered from here while on holiday in the area, and while it was very nice it seemed quite expensive for what you got. The south indian garlic chilli didn't really taste garlicky at all, but had five whole (cut in half) green chilli peppers in it, so beware if you don't like things too spicy. The passanda isn't as creamy as we've had elsewhere, but was still very nice. Chom Chom Bahar was a dish we'd never tried before and was also really nice. They did forget the onion bhajis, but when contacted were happy to offer a refund for the amount. We also received aloo gobi instead of bombay aloo but unsure if this was an error on our part (we ordered online and confirmation email didn't list our order). All in all would recommend it.
