4.30pm sitting Christmas day ? .Had to ask for cutlery and given fork knife and spoon ( no cutlery for startePreviously ordered starter not available ? Menu for Christmas day advertised numerous meats for carvery for Christmas lunch. Advised Turkey not available as they had been really busy ( Not acceptable ? 82 year old dad never had a Christmas without his turkey ?) Yorkshire pudding not available,but told to go back to serving counter later and they would be ready . One of the desserts was cold when served and it had to be reheated in microwave.
Complained to head office who advised management would be in touch. Contacted by email by assistant manager with excuses about being busy and having used Six turkey's that day !!!
Christmas day is a special day and this establishment did not provide the service o experience we expected.
Definitely do not recommend this restaurant for Christmas celebrations ?

Had a great time here, the server we had was lovely and really personable - I can't recall his name (young, dyed blonde hair).
The food was great with lots of options and the service was fast.
The only complaint I have is the gentleman I assume is the manager or some sort of shift leader was quite rude and dismissive when we'd given him no reason to be. You could tell he didn't enjoy his job.
Vegetarian options: They offer several vegetarian menu items or alternatively you can get a vegetarian carvery which is actually cheaper than the meat-based carvery.

Vicky was very entertaining. I came late and the food was still hot and tasty. I ate too much with starter, carvery and dessert. But thoroughly enjoyed everything.

We had booked a table and had arrived much earlier than expected. We sat at the bar and was served quickly and happily.
When our table was ready we were seated with a smile. Our server Victoria was wonderful! Run off her feet and super apologetic for not getting to us sooner and we hadn't really waited that long. She was attentive, chatty and down to earth. Just a wonderful human. The carvery deck was very busy too but despite the heat and the amount of people the carvery chef (Jason if I remember correctly) served everyone and our party with a friendly smile and some small talk. The veg deck was rotated frequently and everything was fresh and delicious. All in all a wonderful visit, a clean and tidy establishment and amazing staff. We are looking forward to visiting again.
Vegetarian options: While not vegetarian myself I did spot some menu items that where vegetarian and looked tasty. And an all you can eat veg deck sounds wonderful to me.

We come to Livingston twice a year for Assemblies of Jehovah?s Witnesses and part of our enjoyable weekend is staying at te Premier Inn in Bathgate and enjoying a fantastic meal at the Toby Carvery.
Our son had given us a Toby Carvery gift voucher to spend this visit. We had two friends with us and all enjoyed a wonderful meal as usual. We just love it and wish there was still one nearer to us in Ayrshire. There was one at The Hurlet near Barrhead but it closed a few years ago now and we miss it. Can?t think of any improvements except to stock alcoholic ginger beer. Ginger ever and lime is my tipple and I drink non alcoholic at home but it would be a nice treat to be able to have an alcoholic version when I?m out enjoying a meal.

We had a great time at the Carvery Bathgate Farm. The food was great and we enjoyed it so much. The person who attended to our table was just brilliant and went out their way to accommodate us when our friend was delay due a work issue. All in all, a really good experience.
