“Really enjoyed my visit today, Halloween on one isle, Christmas in the next. Really good music and I heard another customer singing along. All really cheered me.”

“Lidl like aldi put the big stores to shame tesco morrisons etc continue to rip customers off while the 2 best stores in the country show them how it's done no wonder people flock to there stores so well done for treating ur customers with respect .”

“Impulse visit when passing to purchase one item. Got what I needed but also a basket of items I otherwise wouldn't have purchased. Good for Iceland profits, not so good for my finances. That's impulse shopping for you.”

“The shop has been totally renovated, great selection of goods, staff are so helpful, having the post office within the shop is great. Avoid lunchtime when the school kids are there, that makes it very busy.”

“Love this local wee corner shop! Amazing how much hardware and how many groceries you can find in here! Always has just what we’re after in a pinch and for treats! Great staff, very patient with little children who always want to pay themselves.”

“Ok, but no self-checkouts which is a big negative because I don’t want to queue forever!

Edit: changed my rating because self-checkouts are finally here and already made the checkout so much faster! Now it’s only the bakery section which needs a bit more tending to (better stocked and regularly tidied up) and shopping here will be so much better!”

“Nice friendly little place with most of the basics on the main street. Parking is rubbish but that's usually caused by greedy/idiotic councils. Staff here are nice people and they have a cake bit next to the till. So if you can park it's great!”

“What's not to like?.. plenty of choice. Most well known brands are stocked. Weekly shop won't cost you a fortune. Lots of decent discounts on multi-buy items. You get loadsa Bang for your Buck. Recommended!”

“Fantastic shop, used to go here when I was 18 when it was a pub very fond memories walking into this shop, great buys, vaps are brilliant and it's great next to main road and free cash machine and contactless payment inside shop. Staff are friendly ( ask for what your looking for and the staff will help ).”

“Haven't been to this store in a long time. Although, now ive been back, I must say I much prefer this store to the Livingston one. Female on the bakery dept today (sorry, didn't get a name) went above and beyond to help. With a smile. Female on checkout was also service with a smile and some banter. Makes all the difference. Clean and tidy. Only complaint is the clothes section. Very small ladies section and virtually non-existant male clothes section. 90% childrens wear.
Good selection of fresh and well stocked food though. Went with a list of about 5-6 items and walked out with about 50 items! Woops.”

“Co-Op has been part of my life since childhood. Back in the day it was not just food it was all about collecting stamps and getting shoes or boots in my birth town. Before that there was the Co' Hall for the dancing. Things have changed from the great auld days. Sadly now it is just another store in the town to pick up what is needed for the weekly shop....However, I still love the idea of walking into the local Co', the staff are auld roots through and through and that is what a town needs...However the Co-op today overall has kind of forgotten they were the backbone for villages and towns where the most struggling would be fed at the most affordable prices with the best foods....I understand today is not yesterday and I will continue to use my town Co-op maybe more for my Grannie's memories and her stamps than cost affordability. Despite that view, staff are fantastic, store is clean and easy to wander through.”

“Been to this store more in the past month than I have been in years. Family members would often rave about it but I personally didn't see much difference than most other Tescos.
But I'm slowly beginning to come around. I see their point.
Staff are very pleasant. Coffee shop upstairs is great. Both the hot food and coffee is very nice.
Checkouts have some of the friendliest and cheerful people I think I've encountered in any major supermarket.
I like this store and will definitely be visiting more often.”
