very odd place. we went here as we seen on google that they do panini and chips and also thought we?d be able to sit in, however we got there and it was just a takeaway.
there were 2 tables but one was occupied by the cashiers friend who had his feet up on one of the 3 chairs. the other table was filthy and we were being watched by the man with his feet up, so when we eventually got our order we went to eat in the car which is not ideal in this weather. the place also absolutely stunk of b.o, not a place for eating.
as for actually ordering, there were no menus and no prices, we only knew what to order as we?d looking online beforehand. the cabinet with the cakes in, as well as the ice cream freezer and the drinks fridge were just so grimy, we just opted for irn brus. the cashier whispered the total while not even looking at us, so we only knew how much we were paying once it came up on the card reader.
food came in a decent time but was pretty average. good portion of chips but just tasted like what you might get at a funfair, got so sick of them after a while. the panini had a good amount of cheese as well, but only a sliver of ham so not great there, and tasted pretty average.

Placed and paid for an order online. They phoned and said they had ran out of crepes and asked if we could choose something else. We said we would phone back in 2 minutes as we wanted to quickly look at the menu.
We phoned back 2 minutes and 30 seconds later and because we were over ?2 minutes on the dot? they had cancelled our order. They started shouting at her over the phone and not letting her speak either. In addition to this we asked for our money back today and they said it ?might be today might be another day?. We needed this money back to get food as me and my pregnant wife are starving with no food or money left now.
My wife is pregnant and we don?t have a lot of money, we are quite poor unfortunately. So needing to wait to get our money back takes it toll because we aren?t as well of as other families and only treat our self?s once a month or on special occasions.
I?m absolutely appalled at the customer service as my wife is pregnant and this is causing us a lot of stress financially and mentally.

Just been to collect a breakfast box, I can honestly say it?s probably the dirtiest place I?ve ever collected food from in my life. The place is actually stinking and everything is just dirty. I wouldn?t take my money back, will never be back

Went in to get a full breakfast( working) and regret going in. Waited 20 mins for a breakfast, coffee and a cake. Couple behind me waited 15 mins just for 2 egg rolls. Poor show.

Thought I would try this cafe for a breakfast roll and a coffee but ended up regretting it.
Ordered a sausage and haggis roll with brown sauce, ended up with just a square sausage on a roll with no haggis or sauce. Also nearly forgot my coffee until I mentioned it.
Due to being in a hurry I was unable to wait for the mistake to be resolved, that being said it was literally just me in the cafe so not sure how it was difficult to remember.
Paid full price before it was prepped and handed to me so won't be back unfortunately, I get cafes can be busy and stressful but I ran coffee shops for over 8 years and can honestly say it was as peaceful in there this morning as it is in a library in 2024 so not sure what the issue was in fulfilling my easy order.
