Any time we order online they have far too many substitutions. Never anything decent in stock and they tend to give us really better use by dates. I hate shopping at Asdas now.

Asda has a lot of good things going for it. The prices are affordable, and there?s a great selection of groceries, clothes, and household items all in one place. The store is usually well-stocked, and the fresh produce is decent quality for the price. It?s also convenient with long opening hours.
However, the main issue is the checkout experience. The self-service tills often have problems ? they freeze, don?t scan properly, or constantly need staff to approve things. When it?s busy, there aren?t always enough staff around to help, which makes paying take longer than it should. It can be a frustrating end to what?s otherwise a good shopping trip.
Asda is still a solid choice for value and variety, but improving the payment process would really make a difference.

Always the last resort as its real pain to shop in, with the self service tills that never really work and take forever to use, the red call lights always on, with the staffed tills that never open as there is no staff on shift.
It used be a great shop well stocked, easy to stop by and buy what you need, but that's long gone and shows how rough asda has gotten, they dont care about the shopper as they've no real competition as of yet so they offer garbage service

Every Friday they have ONE solitary ordinary checkout open and a queue half way around the store for the limited self-checkouts. It's a busy time and they point-blank refuse to put more than one check-out operator, on. Today, i lost and left a half-filled basket and walked out. I would have been there for an hour, otherwise. It's badly run, over-priced and the staff, don't care. They stand about all over, gossiping. Do yourself a favour. Don't go.
