Went today for my lunch break and ordered chips and cheese. Chips where cold and cheese wasn't even melted literally handed me chips in 2 mins. They were not freshly fryed I've had a stomach ache all day. Anytime I eat from this place I've had stomach issues or diarrhea someone needs to check food safety and hygiene in this place. I remember once I went to get some food and the lady was standing their picking at her skin and then touching the food disgusting!

Got a donner hogi with the chips had cheese i couldn't eat the chips they didn't taste nice at all they where to soft we placed the order at just after 17:10 the 22nd July 2025 it didn't get here until 18:35 my partner her takeaway was good it was a lamb korma with rice but my donner hogi wasn't will never get anything again at least the delivery driver she apologised unlike the owner

I think jewels of Aisa is a really good takeaway and the female delivery driver is friendly and there is good customer service and the food is excellent

Just had a takeout of the gourmet meal, delivery wait time was a bit long but made up for it by the food, it was delicious and fed a family of 5 adults. Thank u guys we will defo be bk x

The person on the other of the call didn?t allow to finish my sentence in adding salt to the chips. The delivery driver was unpleasant and the food is cold and tasteless.

Lost for "words"
After you tell them less sauce, they go and drown the Kebab in sauce...
Then when you order one thing and you get something totally diff it shows the staffs incompetent.
NEVER MAKE A PHONE ORDER AND ALWAYS CHECK YOOUR ORDER IN THIS ESTABLISHMWNT.

I use jewels all the time never had a problem when I pick up tonight a phoned a delivery and was usual guy on phone waited 1 hour and phoned back he said 10 mins waited a further 10mins and phoned again and told a further 15 mins knew they had made a mistake with all chatter in background obviously put it as a pick up instead a delivery can?t they just be honest will never use here again I would travel first shocking

Being new to Barrhead, I have only recently discovered this takeaway, after being repeatedly disappointed by my large, local takeaway in the Craighead area.The Jewel of Asia has never disappointed on any aspect of their service.The food os always rich, succulent, tasty and fresh. I know when this type of food is fresh, having worked as an assistant in a number of takeaways over the years.The staff are always polite and helpful despite working long hours which would put most of us of local heritage, to shame.With all this taken into account, they can not be beaten on price and generous portion sizes. There are even some meal deals and combos which would be hard to beat if you could cook them yourself.I hope this takeaway sticks to it's core values and continues to deliver great service to Barrhead and the surrounding area.
