Grabbed a day pass as I had time to kill before starting work and fancied a work out and was very underwhelmed by it all.On arrival the staff were friendly and the place seemed well put together.The gym area was spacious and well equipped with a good variety of equipment, seemed to be a lack of cleaning bottles to use to wipe down the equipment though.I used the shower facilities after my workout and was disappointed, the men's showers were unclean, mould on the roof and a used bar of soap and an old bottle of shower gel sat on the floor. The actual shower was also pretty week. I would've expected some wall mounted soaps at the minimum and a clean shower.All in all I think £15 for a day pass or £55 a month for a membership is extortionate when you break down what is actually on offer. For that sort of monthly fee I'd expect pool facilities and we'll put together shower and changing facilities and proper lunch and food options.All in all the place seemed a bit confused, with changing facilities at one end, shower cubicles on the other side of the building and a weird conference room table set up in the main reception....with a gym slapped on the side. It's trying to be many things for all people in a small space, where as I feel if it just focused on being a decent well priced gym and nothing more it would be brilliant.

The Unit Gym & Fitness is very well maintained and equipped with the best machines possible for bodybuilding or fitness. It has free weights a good selection for everyone and the highest possible grade of cardio equipment and you won't be waiting around for one walk in and get straight to training.Staff are very helpful and highly trained in dealing with new beginners or anyone who needs help, i truly must say the guy is excellent. 7 star ? rating.

The gym itself is amazing and everyone who works there is also really friendly. They offer great advice and to top it all off are running the gym really well with covid measures in place that make you feel safer.
