Its be handy if the staff at the till know how to work out change! I was charged £3.60, gave the lass £10 cash and she was completely unable to work out how to give me change! She was more interested in giggling with the barista than listening to my explanation of how its done. Also, they have a plate of tiny pieces by the till that looks like tasters, its not until you pick it up they point out the even tinier sign that says they are £1 each! I won't be back

It's a great stopping point, very convenient and good seating options both indoors and outdoors.
Unfortunately the coffee isn't great. It has been 'fine' in the past but trying the iced latte was pretty bad?extremely bitter. Perhaps a super dark roast, over extracted, or perhaps a bit stale?
For me the coffee is the attraction so doesn't make much sense when it's that far off, but perhaps doesn't bother others too much.

Disgusting attitude from woman in blue dress probably one of the owners. We've been coming here for years, and never had such a rude waiter.
My husband and I went in as usual for dine in, Sat down at an unreserved table. With four seats, didn't want to be sandwiched in between other diners, the lady came over to us and asked us to move to a smaller table, we said we would be quick eating and leave within 20 mins, she said okay and walked off. 5 minutes later she came back and said if anyone with more than 2 person party came in we would need to get up (in the middle of eating) and go to a smaller table to accommodate a party of 3 or more. We said let's move to a smaller table now, so we don't have to walk with our plates of food and drink if a bigger table comes in, frustrated. Then we could tell the lady was clearly annoyed with us so we asked for our food to go, and we sat outside to give space so we aren't in their way taking up the tables. She came out with our food and purposely left it at the table at the door, didn't want to walk up to us and hand our food so she said our name left it 5 feet away on a table propping up the front door and walked away with her rude attitude. SO UNFRIENDLY. Why do you have a table open and get to dictate who uses it if it is unreserved? So unprofessional, and sad after years of getting good service we've experienced your unwelcoming owners. You need to put a sign on the table saying "only for party of 4" if you care so much about its use, you want more people to be able to sit down but don't care about being friendly and reasonable with your guests that are already in. Never again, and clearly you don't mind losing business to keep your nose up at locals. Shame on your name woman. Will never recommend this to anyone again, we've overlooked every issue of the place until now, your pride and ego got in the way of providing excellent service today well done ?
