Stopped in for breakfast during a family trip around Scotland. Great place with great service, coffee, and my family still talks about the waffles they had.

Desperate for a coffee as we drove through Banorchy from the Cairngorms headed to Edinburgh we spied this cafe and decided to grab a takeaway coffee.
Without doubt the best coffee I have had since leaving Australia 6 weeks ago. The owner knew his stuff, roasts their own coffee and knocked out a smashing cup. So good I had to go back for a second before hitting the road.
Conversation was great, a wonderful 15 minute break on a long drive.
So thankful to have accidentally picked this cafe?highly recommend

Small cafe with the most delicious decaff coffee I have ever tasted!
Service was good, soup and sandwich lunch was very tasty and filling but I was blown away by the ?Nightbus? gutatemalan coffee. I even bought some beans to take home- a thing I never do!

This was a lovely cafe with a very nice family feeling to it. We had the chicken chorizo and the chicken feta grilled sandwiches and they were delicious! Would probably stop again next time we're in Banchory, their coffee and sweet treats looked very nice as well. Lovely people as well so it was a really nice discovery.

Wen in on a Tuesday morning so it was lovely and quiet. Sat by the window, had a nice latte and just worked on my laptop. I imagine in tourist season this place gets rammed because it is quite small, but during the time I went, it was amazing

10/10 service from Colin and the team at the Birdhouse. Been here a good few times and hadn?t been in for a while but went in this morning and was absolutely amazing once again.

Popped in for afternoon coffee & snack (dairy free) Coffees & vegan cake were perfect, both obviously made with care & pride!. Friendly & nice little place. We will definitely return.
