Spectacular historic hotel in former stately home. Idea for exploring Scottish Highlands or golfing. Superb restaurant, amazing whiskey collection and outstanding staff make in a fantastic stay. Decor is splendid throughout and rooms are excellent, extremely comfortable and well laid out.

Amazing hotel!! Highly recommend. The entire staff is so lovely, especially Kyle and Hazel who were not only helpful but kind and fun. The rooms are beautiful, food is delicious, and there were highland cows in the backyard!!! Thank you to everyone here.

Such an incredible experience staying at Culloden House!! Everyone was so lovely and accommodating. The Garden Mansion Suites were amazing and literally next to a private, walled garden. But the best thing are the people there, who were all so warm and welcoming to myself and my family. Thank you!!

This is a beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are old, the hotel is ancient and has tons of amazing history. If you like antique hotels, creaky floors, steps, no elevator, and more personalized service, this is the place for you. No electronic keys, just good old-fashioned skeleton key. Breakfast each morning was good with à la cart items and you could order pretty much anything you wanted. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with a very nice garden. This is our favorite hotel during our trip in Scotland based on the history in the old home deal. The staff were very attentive very kind and some of our favorite people we met on the entire trip. If you get to meet Kyle, he is an absolute gem.

I?m full of gratitude and wonder after staying at the beautiful Culloden House Hotel in Inverness. The level of personal service and genuine hospitality we experienced simply doesn?t exist in large chain hotels (or anywhere in the U.S.).
Over the course of our two-night stay, our group met and became acquainted with several staff members, including the general manager, who invited us to sit in the lounge for tea and shortbread cookies. After becoming completely enamored with the cookies, we later met the chef, who generously shared his recipe and insisted on giving us a small box to take home. We also met the restaurant managers and wait staff, who were polite and quick to offer a witty joke, and even the gardener, who shared thoughts on the incredible Virginia creeper that runs across the beautiful face of the house. These warm encounters made us feel like part of their extended family.
Of course, Culloden House is a historic estate, and it should be embraced as such. While our rooms were immaculately clean and extremely comfortable, you may encounter the occasional creaky floorboard or a quirky outlet?charming reminders that you're in a piece of Scottish history, not a modern cookie-cutter hotel.
10/10?this was easily one of the best hotel stays I?ve ever had. I travel over 100 nights a year, and Culloden House rivals?and in many ways surpasses?top-tier properties like The Broadmoor and Sea Island in the U.S.

Wow! It's such a wonderful hotel. From the time you pull through the gates, you seem to be instantly transported back in time. The driveway up to the hotel presents a magnificent view of the hotel, and the walled garden is spectacular. To compliment the hotel and features, the staff are there to make sure your stay is perfect! Absolutely amazing hotel!

GORGEOUS location, beautiful rooms, great food and the staff are beyond FANTASTIC! They are funny, warm, friendly and made us feel like cherished guests. Kyle is absolutely lovely and a wonderful, funny cheeky gentleman, Hazel is funny, and very good at her job, Fiona in reception was very helpful and the rest of the staff clearly love what they do.
We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back! We love it here!!

Thos place is nice and quiet with beautiful interior with lovely gardens to the back of it which you can walk around on a beautiful day the food is to a high standard and the service is also to a high standard
