Absolutely revolting. Probably the worst Chinese I've ever tasted. Ordered the beef in oyster sauce and it literally tasted of a sweated out carrot. Bland.Save your money and get an Indian or cook yourself.

Take away/Take out only place. Attendant seen annoyed we ask questions. We order Fried rice, steak and pepper, chicken curry and chicken chop suey. The curry was ok chicken was spongy. The chic6chop suey was horrible and rice was almost inedible. Tasted like has been reheated several times. The best one was the steak and peppers. Al gave this place a try because of the reviews. I you are use to USA stile Chinese Take out stay away from this place.

Drove from Braemar as we were desperate for a takeaway. First time trying this place. Ordered the mixed starters, chicken in oyster sauce and chicken foo yung. Was a good 15-20 drive back to Braemar but food was still piping hot. Got to say this was one of the tastiest Chinese takeaways we have ever had. All food super fresh, plenty of tender chicken and oozing flavour! Every takeaway has a bad day, please, give it a try?.we?ll definitely be back!

We were en route to Inverness and decided to stop if for tea at 6pm. Ordered Shredded chilie beef , pancake rolls, fries , and a special chow mein dish . I certainly didn't order Shredded deep fried batter strips in a tasteless watery red soup. Or did I order a tub of flavourless empty dough rolls . Nor did I order hollow tasteless crispy things .... that was the fries but could have been the rolls . And finally the Chow Mein . Well that did have flavour but only just . I've eaten sudo Chinese food all over the world but this was beyond belief . People in Ballater are easily pleased

Food seemed nice enough, however woke up this morning to discover my vegetable spring rolls actually contained chicken. Considering the whole meal was supposed to be vegetarian this is incredibly off putting. I?ve spent this morning being sick thanks to this. If you have dietary requirements or food allergies make sure to avoid this place.

We visited the New Shanghai Chinese takeaway while in Ballater. The special curry was the best we have ever had. The meat was plentiful and tender and at least 4 king prawns in each curry. The sauce was perfect, medium/hot and plenty of it. At £6.30 each price was very reasonable for a tourist town. Would recommend

I had just finished climbing Ben Macdui and all of the restaurants were closed. We decided to try this takeaway. My wife and I both had the vegetarian chow mein and I had a portion of chips as well. After 12 hours walking I was really hungry and this hit the spot. The portion size was really good, I was full after the chow mein. It was piping hot, crispy and crunchy and cooked to perfection. The chips were also crispy and cooked to perfection. I was more than satisfied after eating this meal.

We were staying in a nearby village on a short break. Went to the village to get some shopping and decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway. Food was good quality, tasty and cooked fresh to order. We were happy.
