Cosy tea room, excellent selection of post hike breakfasts (until 1pm) and lunch options. Sandwiches made on warm homemade focaccia. Will return!

Friendly service, plenty avaliable table when arrived.
Food was good, the beans was slightly on a warm side instead of hot, but overall was a nice Scottish breakfast and very fresh scone and good haggis to.

Was most disappointed with this tea room I had visitors up staying and I recommend we go into here for something to eat. I had been in a few years ago and it was really nice. Not now. The staff were chatting in the kitchen, all the tables were needing cleared, when ordering the staff member didn't get the order correct and one item we asked for was finished ,so was the next item but 3rd time lucky. My apple crumble cake came out and couldn't even cut with a knife it was that hard, and guess what no more as it was finished so had to choose something else. The teas came out after we were served the food. But the toasty never appeared and we had to ask where it was no sorry was given. Staff back in kitchen speaking to each other and still tables not cleaned. Will not recommend or be back
Shame as it used to be a lovely tea room.

Good food and a lovely tearoom, however, call me old fashioned but when you go into an eatery as a couple you expect to eat as a couple. We ordered soup for 1 then a toastie and a sausage bun with tea and coffee to come with the sandwiches. Within 2 minutes we had our tea and coffee, no soup or sandwich. My wife?s toastie arrived but no soup for me yet. She is halfway through and I eventually get my soup, which was lovely but could have been warmer. I then got my sandwich, wife all finished and my coffee is cold. It?s not difficult to get right but the emphasis seems to be, get out on the table what we can and deliver the rest when it?s ready. Otherwise it could have been perfect.

Came in from the cold and was met with a very funny friendly welcome and warm room. The food is very good, with us having teas, cheese scones, and square sausage and egg baps. Highly recommend.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, amazing tomato soup and delicious cakes, reasonably priced and great coffee too. The old version of the tearoom did a cracking fry up so good to see it's still got a breakfast menu, though we were in for lunch this time so we'll have to come back. Visited in the off season and was nice and quiet but imagine it will be busy come the summer!

Nice little stop off for a coffee and cake though I wouldn't recommend the flapjack, it was as hard as a brick!

Very cosy cafe with a nice view if you sit next to the window! And the coffee was really good! Try the Egg role, you won?t regret it! ?
