Fish was a 8/10 but chips were a 2 I think I got reaheets taste not the best and price was higher than normal if chips were a better quality this would have been a good score staff are friendly only chips let it down 'met a lad from Glasgow and seid the exact thing hope next time I'm up chips are better. D. M.

First time in last night with my daughter. Staff uninterested. Lady on till. Abrupt and harsh tones used to staff and customers. Waited over half an hour for two portions of fish and chips...fish mediocre chips tasteless. Looked annoyed at customers being in shop. Would never return. Not far short of 30 pound for two fish supper and 4 pickles. One pleasant member of staff in shop. Local lady who used to be a dinner lady in the area. Do yourself a favour. Go to cuil seafood snack bar. Lady who runs it. Excellent manner and service with customers. And amazing food. Avoid Quarriers at all oost.

While staying in Ballchulish we were happy to pick up take out twice and sit in and eat twice our dinners after long days of sightseeing. Battered fish and chips were delicious with a large serving of chips. The pizzas are made with homemade dough and were perfect. Thank you for your friendly service.

This was the best of the fish and chips I had in Britain, and I had a few. Lovely, crisp batter, big wodges of potato, piping hot - how it should be. My partner had an ok burger, but really it's not a burger place so pick your battles. The experiences (let alone reviews) of Ballachulish eateries are mercurial. Of the 3 proximal ones, this one was open and good, I did not care for the expensive place on the other side at all, and why does the bakery with the beautiful looking sausage rolls open at 10am and close at 4, so open at no point when we were there? And what is going on with the poorly stocked market? Be prepared for tricky food finding in Ballachullish. You'll likely end up thankful for this spot.

Delicious fish and chips! Enjoyed both the breaded and the battered. Lovely and crisp and fish was good quality. Staff were very friendly too and we felt really welcome with our dogs.
