The hotel is in a great location with fantastic views. This was a return visit for us but thought it has started to look very tired and not as nice as it used to be. Our evening meal at the hotel was nice but the breakfast was pretty average. The reception staff were lovely but not all the staff in the restaurant were as friendly or helpful.

Fantastic service from the reception staff who'd arranged a lovely wedding anniversary card and gift for us and also a couple of bar staff. Fish and chips were amazing but my monkfish pasta was pretty bad. Restaurant service was pretty poor unfortunately. At first helpful and friendly but then after they disappeared we didn't know about any daily specials and were ignored for a long time. Drinks order was asked for twice & confirmed as ordered by the waiter but after 25 minutes we gave up. Didn't order dessert as we'd waited long enough earlier.

Gorgeous location but not like it used to be. Cheap watered down orange juice, didn?t have family staff feel like before. Paid a lot for one night but not good value at all. Would no longer recommend. A real shame as used to be a gem.

While the hotel is in an incredibly beautiful location, we were very disappointed with our room. Rooms don't match rooms advertised on website. We paid premium price and don't feel we got what we paid for. When we checked in and got to our room, we were horrified to discover the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Loads of hairs in bath and on shower wall. Used towel behind radiator. Brought it to the attention of reception. House keeping were sent and bathroom was cleaned but recieve no apology. I asked if we got the correct room as it was very very small. Was told yes, you got the feature double room. I asked what was the feature and told it was the window!!!!!!!!!!! Staff work hard but they were not friendly. We were refused a seat in the bar to have a drink because they were sitting the tables for breakfast, it was just after 8.30pm. Overall, we both were disappointed as we felt we paid alot of money for a below average service and room.

Nothing special to repeat or recommed it. Expensive and not delivers the expected. The rooms are not bad but they need refurbishment and maintenance. The Guest House i was before was great compared to this hotel (and far away cheaper). The hotel is completely isolated (good or bad depending on each person) and needs a car (and the parking is very small for all the guests). The surroundings are good. They have EV chargers (positive). The breakfast very basic and like in big hotels (buffet) but not a great buffet. The restaurant was a total dissapointing. It is expensive (not a problem) but quality and service (dirty tables, you get stuck to them when in touch - this happenned in dinner and breakfast in different tables). They have a salon for guests with games and a library to chat, etc. In conclusion the hotel is a hotel, nothing charming with old installations and lack of maintenance,

Rooms were very warm. Luckily a fan was provided in closet. Our rooms had no view or just of a messy courtyard. Bed was excellent. Not easy to find a kingsize bed in Scotland. Some heavy, noisy equipment was running right outside our window. It shut off at night and came back on in morning. I?m think AC for restaurant or some kitchen equipment. A hair that clearly didn?t belong to me or my wife was on the shower wall. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Typical larger hotel fare.

Overall thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Lovely sipping wine and watching the sun set behind the hills across the Loch, from our room window! Gin and Tonic waiting in our room for us on arrival was a lovely unexpected touch!

Had a great time here. Definitely recommend. Make sure you play some golf next door! It's included in your stay and the 9 hole course was in great condition. Hotel was a nice place to stay. Would stay here again.

Great history. Love the fact it used to be a Ferry Inn and has been updated but retained the charm. The main staircase creaks but lends itself to the charm. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the river. Handled tour groups easily. Our dinner service was friendly, professional and the food was good. The first-floor library and parlor added to the charm. The reception and bar staff was friendly. Shame we only had one night here.

Charming hotel situated right on the water below the Ballachulish bridge. Great food for both breakfast and dinner. Lovely room with plenty of space and nicely decorated. Also was very lucky to get a room with a stunning view of the bridge and water. Would highly recommend.

It is the only game in town. Buses/tours use it for dining and accomodations. The room's furnishings could stand some refurbishing. We never did figure out the shower correctly. Didn't eat in the restaurant, instead chose something nearby which was less expensive. After the busload of people left the breakfast dining area it was quiet enough to eat.

The hotel was lovely and our room was excellent with superb views across the loch. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. It has a good location with easy drives to Glencoe, Ben Nevis and Oban.

Busy hotel with bus loads but not too busy to attend to us. Great weather for the two days, which is unusual in the west highlands, but a bonus. Stunning location. We went up the Gondola at Fort William for more great views, though the ticket was expensive.

Lovely location looking over the Loch and good views of the bridge. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a double room in the older building and it was tastefully decorated . We were on the third floor and being an old building the staircase was quite creaky adding to the ambience. The sunsets from the restaurant were beautiful. We enjoyed a meal on the two nights we stayed at this hotel. We enjoyed our meal on both nights. The only factor to consider is breakfast and dinner gets quite noisy as it is a destination for large bus tours. It was a very nice touch we were given a card and local fudge in recognition of our wedding anniversary. It is a good location to explore Glencoe and Fort William. The Glencoe visitors Centre staff are very helpful , make sure you drop in and see the Turf House
