My wife and I both recently attended our annual eye test with Urquhart Opticians in Ayr. As always, we were made to feel very welcome by reception (sorry can't remember the lady's name). Our appointment was with Carol Semple. Carol is everything you would hope for when attending for an eye test. She is courteous and immediately makes you feel relaxed and at ease. She has that rare quality of always making you feel that she is interested in you personally, but never at the expense of her professionalism. There is never any doubt that your tests are carried out to the highest standard. All in all, highly recommended.

First time visiting this business. I was extremely impressed with the care and service by the whole team. Very friendly and extremely professional. After years of going to regular high street opticians I found the care and attention to detail a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended.

Amy is a fantastic optician. I have had several problems with my eyes recently, always been a contacts wearer (for over 30 years) and due to few things eyes have become drier and had a couple of infections. Amy has been amazing. So professional, offering good advice and explaining why she is recommending things thoroughly. The whole team at both Ayr and Kilmarnock have been great. Cheryl is fantastic at fitting glasses especially on my children! Such a good service offered and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience for my Dad who attended as a new patient with multiple eye issues. The optometrist Carol Semple went above and beyond looking after him and providing appropriate referrals and treatment which has been life changing.
