Slightly overhyped. Nice decor and vibe but food isn?t all that great if I am giving my professional opinion. We came for breakfast, the price vs the contents you get makes no sense. I don?t feel like it is value for money. There are other establishments who provide a fuller plate of fresh food for half of the price.
Our order consisted of x1 full breakfast, which was missing items as described on the menu. The plate itself was half full and the items were either cold or overcooked.
The other item ordered was x1 small breakfast, which wouldn?t satisfy a small child. With barely any contents, which describes the title well, but for the price again, not worth it at all. One strand of bacon and a dollop of scrambled egg does not = a fair portion for any breakfast. We left hungry after paying a somewhat more expensive bill compared to other places we have visited for a breakfast.
Other than the chef being in his own world, the staff spent most of their time behind the bar chatting and I only witnessed 2 male staff actually working / talking to customers. A relatively quiet morning but nonetheless, there was no attention to our table for quite some time and no notice of the missing breakfast items or somewhat lack of care.
Shame.

Went here today for lunch with my partner staff were lovely and friendly good atmosphere my only complaint was the food. My partner had the Cajun crepes which he really enjoyed but there was hardly any chicken in it which was disappointing and I ordered the peking duck & hoi sin bao buns which a was really looking forward to as I love duck looked great when it arrived but taste wise not so good the duck had been put in a tempura style batter, the batter wasn?t made properly as the oil had seeped all through the batter so when you bit into it your got a mouth full of greasy oil and the minuscule pieces of duck you get is cut so small that when it?s been fried it was well overcooked and tough. So I?m a bit disappointed as I?d always wanted to try here as it?s always busy and looked amazing

Very busy and lively witha buzzing atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Had the Thai stye chicken which was beautifully flavoured but sadly the chicken seemed to have been cooked far in advance and was hard round the edges and dry

Beyond disappointing. We used to visit The Treehouse and other Buzzwork venues when the company first began and up until the pandemic whenever working on business in the area. We were so excited to return only to experience abysmally slow service and below average breakfast food. We later visited Scott's in Troon for dinner and although the food was of a better standard, yet again the service was abysmally slow and no one seemed to care any more. Buzzworks stood out for us as providing consistently high customer service - always welcoming, attentive and swift. Clearly, since the pandemic and since expanding the business, the personal attention to detail and quality is no more. Such a huge shame.

Lovely food and a nice atmosphere.

I had the plant based roast. It?s was all really nicely done but the main item was a couple of bits of butternut squash. It felt like it was lacking a main item and left me a bit hungry. It?s not great value when you compare the price to the meat roasts. The staff were great and the food came quick. The restaurant is bright, comfortable and relaxed.

Unfortunately the optional service charge wasn't optional.

Really want to give more stars but there was a delay in service and only when I asked if we could place our order were we told they were letting the kitchen catch up.
Sat at a table in the middle so noise was an issue, simply due to acoustics.
Food was good, but definite room for improvement. However, I would happily go back.
