I have to say that my first time visit today at this Travis Perkins in Ayr today was a good on.There was a young man (glasses and blond hair) at the gates who had the entrance barriered off. He was very polite and apologetic and the explained to me the reason behind this action which was 100% totally understandable.Then another man came across to explain and again he too apologised to me. He was also very polite. I think he was in charge of the store.I asked the 2 men where else I could get spray paint from and the charge hand asked if that's all I was after, which it was, 10 cans.He opened the barrier and said I'll serve you, which he did.It is acts of kindness that goes a long long way with people.I couldn't be more thankful to these 2 gentlemen.Travis Perkins, you have 2 stirling members of staff right here, they are a credit to your business.

Had 4 large bags of top soil delivered, arrived nice and early, driver very happy to lower them to helpful spots. Really pleased.

I ordered 5 rolls of knauf insulation and was waiting on a delivery time and date to be confirmed from my local ayr branch and heard nothing for 6 days. I was out and recieved a call from the delivery driver telling me had thrown the rolls over the side fence and left. It was raining heavily and the rolls are soaking, so quickly carried them in the house, but they are unusable. Contacted the branch and the manager tried to make out a delivery date was confirmed at order, absolute nonsense and I have the email to prove. Said there was supplier issues so couldn't guarantee when he could get stock and was pretty cheeky. No apology or nothing, trying to pass the blame onto us. Please don't bother ordering from these guys. Absolute joke, no customer service skills or companion for the fact that I now can't complete my job because of their incompitense Just another example of the wrong type of people being placed in positions of responsibility.
