Really nice place, I used to volunteer here. Everyone apart from the manager is an unpaid volunteer. It's a cosy little shop, and the prices are fairly worked out (they do actually research some of the rarer items to get an accurate estimate of its value and price it cheaper!)

Great items at bargain prices! Shelter sells quality clothing (often unused) and other hidden gems can be found. The staff are great, very helpful and friendly without being intrusive to your browsing.

First of all I love that this is the cheapest charity shop in Ayr and it doesn't compromise on quality at all! All the staff are super friendly and almost all of them volunteers too! You can always find a bargain and something very quirky, would definetly recommend.
