Since I joined the Board of SeAscape two years ago I have been so impressed by the work that is done by support workers, employed and volunteers, to support people in housing need. Clients, often people facing complex difficulties, always rate the support they have received very highly. A couple of quotations will illustrate this:"This time last year we were looking at being evicted. [Our support worker] has been a God send and treated us with courtesy and respect." This client is now able to pay bills and eat healthily in a warm home."I don't know where I would be without the help of these lassies. They have given me hope for the future and I have my family back with me." This service user was a former prisoner who had mental health and addiction issues. It is a privilege to work with people who really make a difference.
