Took my daughter at the weekend for lunch and the place was bustling and lively. The staff were extremely friendly and gave my daughter some amazing colouring in books and pens and crayons to play with and the food wasn't bad either. Would definitely recommend.

Went in with my dad for a tea and cake and was extremely disappointed. Service was polite but slow, the tea was very weak and the large pancake which we shared was very rubbery (it looked great but maybe had been sitting too long). My dad didn't rate the coffee either.
It was late in the afternoon and I'm sure it had been a long day for staff but when you pay modern day coffee shop prices (£8.55 for a regular tea, a regular cappuccino & one pancake) you expect much better.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Love their coffee it's not too bitter as some are and is perfect paired with their caramel cup, just the right amount of sweetness. The toilet is a bit of a hike up the stairs but it's clean and fresh.

Close to 5 stars. The good stuff. Food was very nice. We had 2 soups and a cup of chips and one glass of Fanta. £18. Tbh it is on the pricey side but the soup was delicious and it is a decent sized portion with some crusty bread. The server was lovely, friendly and a bit of a character. My only issue is (well apart form the price) at no point did anyone ask us if everything was ok. Even when we paid the girl who was friendly, never once said was everything ok, did you enjoy that or anything else. So that?s why it?s a 4 and not a 5 star.

Great little restaurant with a small but well covered menu. From typically Scottish dishes to foods even I enjoyed. The coffee is outstanding. Well situated, clean with friendly staff make this an Ayr gem.

Always the best in town for a coffee and a freshly baked sugar ring donut! Great friendly service at fair prices. The breakfast rolls go down a treat too.
